A great base to enjoy all that Cyprus has to offer! This 2 bedroom first floor apartment with lift and designated under cover parking is set in the peaceful village of Mazotos. The location is ideal for a fun holiday away from the crowds. It's just 20 minutes from Larnaca airport and the heart of Larnaca with its palm tree promenade and stunning blue flag award winning beaches.

Our apartment is located centrally on the island, making it an ideal location to visit all the sites of Cyprus. Mazotos is a quiet unspoilt traditional Cypriot village surrounded by the sea, olive groves and mountains. With approximately 1200 inhabitants, Mazotos has a range of local amenities including 2 small supermarkets, a bank, bars and a lovely weekend market.

There are a variety of beaches only a short drive away offering water sports, restaurants and beachside bars. Just a few minutes away from the apartment is the Camel Park, which is great for kids and has its own restaurant, bar and pool. Neighbouring Kiti and Pervolia also offer numerous traditional bars, restaurants etc.

Comfortably sleeping 6, this spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is furnished to a high standard and fully air conditioned.

The open plan design has a stylish dining area with seating for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with a wide range of new equipment and cooking utensils.

The apartment boasts a large terrace with a table, chairs and a sea view. The terrace is ideal for eating, relaxing, and watching the sun set in the evening.

The lounge area has 2 sofas, fluffy cushions, side tables, lamps and an LCD television with DVD player for your enjoyment. Each sofa folds out into a double bed so two adults can comfortably stretch out for a good night's rest.

There are 2 double bedrooms with build in wardrobes, a chest of drawers, bedside tables, reading lamps and plenty of space to unpack and spread out. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds.

One of the bathrooms has a bath with overhead shower and the other has a shower cubical. Both bathrooms also have a toilet and wash basin.

All linen and bath towels are included and there are extra pillows to ensure you have a comfortable stay. A cot and/or high chair can be provided for a small additional charge.

All electric sockets are the British 3 prong standard so there is no need for adaptors if you bring your own electrical goods.

There are 3 outdoor swimming pools with sun loungers and a shaded area for your enjoyment. Each pool has its own well mantained changing facilities with showers and toilets. At the centre of the complex is a childrens play area.

The apartment has a designated under cover parking spot and street parking is available for additional vehicles.

For your convenience, we can stock the kitchen with food and drink before you arrive. This can range from the basics of cereal, milk and juice for your first morning to an extensive grocery shop. The choice is yours and the service is completely flexible!

About this location

The Larnaka District

Larnaca is the oldest existing city in Cyprus, but it is also one of the most modern with an estimated population of around 72,000 inhabitants. With its excellent infrastructure, Larnaca has been a popular tourist destination for many years.

It has a new marina with a capacity of over 200 yachts; a modern harbour, and a number of beautiful beaches, which stretch for over 25km and offer countless water sports and leisure activities. The most famous of these is Phinkoudes Beach with its palm tree lined promenade, clean golden sand and warm safe water; all just a short walk away from the city centre and its various amenities.

Given its long history, Larnaca has a wide range of interesting historical and archeological sites; buildings and museums, many within easy walking distance of the city centre. During the winter months the great Salt Lake near to the airport is also home to a multitude of colourful flamingos lazily grazing on the plankton.

The main shopping streets in Larnaca are Ermou Street, Zinonos Kitieos and Grigori Afxentiou Avenue, where you will find numerous shops to suit every taste. Ermou Street is especially famous for its jewelry and watchmakers shops. Large international clothing chains can be found on Stratigou Timayia Road, in the North West of the city.

Eating out in Larnaca is a pleasurable experience, with the beaches being lined with numerous seafood restaurants, all serving up the latest catch of the day. The choice of dishes is vast, with nearly all restaurants offering continental and international cuisine, but it is still well worth sampling some of the local dishes such as a varied Meze meal or fasoulaki, which is lamb in red wine with French beans.

Nightlife is quite varied in Larnaca. There are all kinds of different clubs and bars in Larnaca ranging from the international clubs to the local bars and tavernas. There are also several venues in Larnaca that have live music on offer, generally local bands and musicians playing a mix of modern and traditional styles. Much of this nightlife is concentrated in the tourist area alongside Makenzie Beach.

The open air amphitheatre and indoor municipal theatre also put on shows throughout the year, where artists, actors and singers from around the world come to perform.


Cyprus is a country for all seasons and interests where the sun, sea and mountains are at your finger tips. Your holiday in Cyprus can be a rich mix of culture, history, activity and lazy days visiting the beaches and mountains. An extensive range of activities for all ages and interests are easily accessable from the apartment.

The Mazotos beach is sandy and less than 2 miles away. There is cafe/restuarant that serves a wide variety of reasonably priced food and has fantastic views of the sea. Faros beach, near Kiti Light House, is a small water sports centre 15 minutes away by car. It's great for snorkaling and you can rent equipment to sail and jestski.

There is an abundence of walking available. Paths through the open countryside and Olive orchards start from the apartment. Bicycle paths run along the coast from Mazotos to Cape Kiti and bicycles can be rented 15 minutes away in Perivolia.

Within 30 minutes, you will find several points of cultural significance and interest. The Stavronouni Monastery is poised atop of an impressive crag visible from the apartment. Lefkara is famed for lace making and silversmithing and is home to a multitude of craft shops. An aura of almost unimaginable age hangs over Choirokoitia, a settlement that thrived 9000 years ago.

The Troodos mountains are a playground for hiking, mountain biking, and snow skiing. At 2000 meters, the temperature at the top of Mount Olympus (1.5 hours) is typically 10' cooler than other parts Cyprus. Paphos and the archaeological parks can be reached in 1.25 hours. The Akamas Peninsula the furtherest westerly point in Cyprus is famous for it's natural beauty and can be reached in 2 hours.

For those looking for a faster pace of life, Agia Napa can be reached in 45 minutes. Waterworld is a great day out for the family and will bring the child out of any adult. Anything goes in Agia Napa, and activities range from bungee jumping to kiteboarding, parasailing, quad biking and wake boarding.

Equally interesting are the cities of Larnaca (20 minutes), Limassol (45 minutes) and Nicosia (45 minutes).

"Relaxing time in quiet apartment"

We spent 5 nights at this apartment from 14th of September. 3 adults and 1 infant child. The apartment was comfortable and adequately sized for us all to fit in easily enough.

The complex itself is split into two apartment blocks and is on the edge of a larger development. Our block was very quiet. In 5 days we saw 3 other people all of whom were staying in block two, so it felt like we had the whole of the block one building to ourselves. It really was very very peaceful, with zero noise pollution. I live in a busy city so it was such a treat.

The apartment has a large balcony overlooking the pool and countryside and childs play area 20 seconds walk away. two bathrooms, two bedrooms, kitchen with full utensils and TV and DVD player. The TV is small and not the best quality, and we couldn't access any TV channels, however there were a large selection of DVDs to keep us entertained.

Please note that you really do need a car if you choose to stay here, Mazetos itself has a small store and bar, but it is not a close walk (25 min?), and uphill on the return! The nearest resort type area is Larneca which is around 25 min drive away.

1) Very quiet and relaxing
2) The apartment has most of the amenities which you require and is well furnished (ikea furniture)
3) good directions and communication from the owner and the friendly local representative


1) To improve the apartment, i would recommend an internet connection/wifi and larger TV with working channels.
2) not a convenient location if you dont have a car
