Home description

Casa Juanita is a self contained Villa in the Camposol Golf resort. It has a warm attractive feel with Bouganvilla and palm plants growing in the front garden. Inside there is a welcoming living room with a dining table and sofa . Chairs, sun lounges and outside furniture compliment sub tropical living.

The bedrooms have one double and one set of twin beds. Further sleeping accommodation can be found on the 2 bed sofa in the living room. A DVD player is also included so if you have small children bring along your own films that may suit. Mobile heaters and fans can be found in the cupboards.All towels are provided as well as a washing machine and line.

The villa is located in a community which is friendly, peaceful and expat. The beaches, national parks and Mazarron port are a short 20 minute drive away. Bolnuevo the closest sandy beach has blueflag awards and a great beach bar called Oasis serving tapas and drinks.

The location of the Villa makes it just 5 mins walk from the clubhouse and first tee. Opposite the clubhouse is a 4 star luxury spa resort offering the opportunity to destress with its many holistic massages. The Villa has everything you need to feel at home. Take the choice of cosy nights in or head off to the commercial centre, clubhouse or hotel with its selection of bars/restaurants. Mazarron port has a new marina lined with restaurants and shops. Recommended for evening strolls along with all the Spanish families who go there in July, August.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The Costa Calida means" warm coast" because it has one of the sunniest climates in Europe with an average temperature of 21 degrees C all year round.

The Costa Calida capital is Murcia with many boutiques and shops including Corte Ingles. Old historical churches and Moorish architecture are all over the region with a castle in Cartegena which is a traditional military port in years gone by.

A beautiful national park with its highest mountain peak, Sierra Espuna has stunning walks and bike rides for the more adventurous.

Mazarron/Bolnuevo

Mazarron is a favourite of the Spanish with holiday makers from Madrid visiting every August. With its above average sea temperature swimming and snorkelling in its clear waters is a favourite. Fishing along quieter coves or just chilling out on its many kilometres of sandy beaches is a past time.

Bolnuevo Beach is recommended for its sandy beach and chilled out lifestyle.

As Mazarron/Bolnuevo is very Spanish, restaurants offer traditional cuisine ranging from fish to chicken, paella to tapas.

A Spanish market is held every Sunday in the port and a modern marina with bars and restaurants overlook large yachts.

How to get there

Mazarron is in the Costa Calida where the main airport is Murcia (San Javier). All the major car hire companies are at the airport. For good hire rates before travel contact www.carjet.co.uk

San Javier airport is an ex military airport which has easy to access to and from. There are great views of the Mar Menor as you land at San Javier. The main Airline that services the airport is Ryan Air, Easy Jet and other Midland/Bradford based operators.

Camposol (Mazarron) is 40 mins drive from the airport via a toll road, making it quick and easy to get to.

Access to Mazarron and the Costa Calida can also be from Alicante Airport. The journey to Mazarron is around 70 mins from Alicante. Most major airlines land at Alicante.

The location of Camposol Golf requires a hire car for the duration of the holiday to ensure easy acces to beaches, shops & national parks.
