Casa Sunita Camposol Golf (villa)

Home description

The villa is very close to the golf course and has views of the surrounding mountains from the large roof solarium.
The lounge is spacious and comfortably furnished with 2 settees(sofabeds) furnished in pine with a very spanish feel, it has a dining table and chairs,coffee table,and is very well presented,it has hot and cold air-con,Satellite TV/DVDVD/CD/VIDEO.

The kitchen is fully tiled ,clean white and bright,all electric with everything needed for your holiday.

The large bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath,shower,bidet and toilet.

The pretty front terrace has a large table and chairs and a covered roof for shade in the heat of the day.
It is a lovely place to eat al fresco in the evenings., the back terrace is the length of the house and has a gazebo and outside shower,large gas BBQ, table and chairs.

The large roof terrace is private, it has loungers, large umbrella, table and chairs and is a great sun trap , ideal for sun worshippers and has lovely views of the surrounding mountains.
Deckchairs,beach umbrella and beach mats for use at the local beaches are provided.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

Mazarrón Costa Cálida.

South of the Costa Blanca ,the Costa Calida (warm coast in spanish) has over 250km of coastline and over 320 days of sunshine a year,the temperature averages between 18-38C in summer and 12-22C in winter..There are 150 beaches along the Murcia/Costa Calida coastline and the beaches at Mazarron and Bolnuevo are blue flag. There is also a naturist beach at Bolnuevo for the more adventurous.The Mazarron area boasts over 35km of unspoilt beaches and unpolluted sea.
Hidden coves, mountains and varied countryside make this area diverse and the friendly people,healthy environment and wonderful climate make Mazarrón region a wonderful place to visit for carefree and relaxing holidays.
This area also produces olives, almonds, lettuces and more tomatoes than anywhere else in Spain, most tomatoes sold in UK supermarkets are grown in this locality.

Mazarron is a traditional spanish town which retains a spanish flavour and heritage but has lots of amenities for holidaymakers.The beautiful new Marina at Mazarron port has shops,restaurants and bars.

The surrounding mountains provide a microclimate for Mazarron ensuring plenty of sun and little rainfall for most of the year.

The Sierra Espuna and Terra Natura Parks are nearby for nature lovers and for sporting activites such as cycling,hiking and climbing. Small villages and towns nestled in the mountains are rich in local tradition and culture.

Totana ,a nearby town is the second largest manufacturer of pottery in Spain and here you can find beautiful examples of ceramics at inexpensive prices.

There is a naturist beach at Bolnuevo. for the more adventurous These waters are perfect for diving and snorkelling. Mazarron is a tourist centre for marine and sub-aquatic activities and deep sea fishing/ canoeing/ water skiing/ windsurfing etc are popular sports. The frequency of prevailing winds in the bay of Mazarron mean that sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken throughout the year.

There is a diving school at Mazarron which offers instruction courses for the novice.
Clear waters and rich fauna allow the enthusiast to discover some very interesting underwaters depths, you can visit underwater caves and between the months of June to August, observe whales and dolphins in their natural habitat.

Mazarron / Camposol Golf area

Camposol has everything you could need for eating,shopping and entertainment as there are shops, bars and lots of restaurants catering for every taste.
Some of the bars have nightly entertainment,There is an 18 hole golf course(handicap required to play) and the golf club has a bar ,restaurant and weekly entertainment.

The new hotel complex (Sensol hotel) which was completed this year has large outdoor and indoor pools, a thermal spa/steam room/sauna/gym, and all sorts of treatments for health and well being

Camposol has a large well stocked supermarket, DIY store ,Medical centre, Dentist, Pharmacy, Computer /Internet store ( where you can make very inexpensive phone calls to the UK ) Bowling alley, Garden centre, There is a large outdoor pool behind Marianos restaurant,the entrance fee is €4. There is also a large new gym with aerobics etc classes for €6 per day. Dragontours agency on Camposol arranges inexpensive fishing and diving trips locally and inclusive 2 -3 day trips to intereresting cities such as Seville/Granada(Alhambra)/Madrid and Barcelona.The port area has a spanish feel with large palms along the beautiful promenade and taking a leisurely walk along the paseo is a lovely way to spend a warm evening. There is a good choice of restaurants at reasonable prices (menu de dia at 7-9euros for 3 courses) The port is approx a 15mins drive from Camposol. The recently completed harbour is very attractive .the area now accommodates yachts as well as the small boats which fish these waters. Fishing is an important source of revenue in Mazarron,there are many varieties of fish in these waters, tuna and sardines being the largest hauls.

A bus service serves the town and port.

Mazarron Town has a daily indoor market for fruit, veg and a Saturday market selling fruit, veg, fish, meat and clothing etc.

The Port of Mazarron has a huge outdoor Sunday market selling clothing,shoes, household goods, furniture and all manner of things.There is a street market in the port of Mazarron most evenings in the summer .There is horse riding locally and go-karting in the summer.

Four lovely beaches are within a10km drive, all beaches are European blue flag and have lovely walks.

Lorca is a nearby town with a castle at the top of the hill which has narrated tours in english. This town also has a fantastic fiesta at Easter with marvellous floats and costumes.

Murcia is the provincial capital of the region and is described as one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the country.It stands on the banks of the river and has retained it's moorish heritage,yet has fashionable boutiques,upmarket department stores and fine local cuisine.There are 20 impressive churches in the city including the baroque Cathedral which is worth visiting, as is the historic University,the Bishops Palace and the Casino built in the 19th century which has an amazing, palatial interior.Murcia also has 2 enormous shopping complexes and an Ikea store adjacent to the motorway,about 30mins drive from Camposol.

Cartagena is an ancient Roman coastal city, the old part of the city is quite spectacular and many of the buildings date back to Phoenician times. Cartagena has a beautiful and lively port area with lots of restaurants ,from here conducted boat trips leave regularly, touring around the surrounding coastline.There is a Naval and Archaeological museum showcasing the rich history of the area . Narrated bus tours also give an insight into the city's fascinating past.

Distance from Camposol to Cartagena is approx 40kms.

Distance from Camposol to Murcia city is approx 70kms.

Distance from Camposol to San Javier airport is approx 75kms.

Distance from Camposol to Alicante airport is approx 120kms.

How to get there

Carhire can also be arranged locally on the Camposol development.
Taxi can be arranged in advance from either Murcia airport for 40euros or 70euros round trip and Alicante airport 50euros or 90euros round trip.

Directions from MURCIA airport, at the first roundabout after leaving the airport, take the turn to CARTAGENA.This will take you onto the AP7 motorway heading towards CARTEGANA / MURCIA ,continue along until you see the sign to LA MANGA / ALMERIA / GRANADA / AP7 to your right, fork off here and continue along do not go into LA MANGA but continue along the AP7,you will see a sign for FUENTE ALAMO and then MAZARRON,COME OFF THE MOTORWAY HERE ( there is a toll of 4.85€ to pay) after you exit, go up to the small roundabout,go across and immediately on the right there is a signpost for TOTANA/MURCIA RM3,TAKE THIS TURN, continue on the RM3 following signs for TOTANA/MURCIA for approx 5 miles,you will pass a sign for EL SALADILLO,shortly past this sign you will see the sign on your right for CAMPOSOL.
Journey time is approx 40 minutes.


Directions from ALICANTE airport, Drive out of the airport, go straight ahead to T-junction(400 yards ) turn left
and you are now on the slip road taking you to the E15/A7 motorway .The first sign is for ALICANTE/VALENCIA,take the turn to ALICANTE
Look above you and you will see a blue sign showing E15/A7 MURCIA, join the motorway here .When you are
approaching MURCIA (approx 50kms) the motorway splits into 2,the left side is for MURCIA and a slip road to the right for ALMERIA/ GRANADA (still the E15/A7) You need to get into the right hand lane here,the road bears off sharply to the right .Take the E15/A7 ALMERIA/GRANADA.road and travel along for approx 30kms until you see the exit for BAHIA DE MAZARRON, The exit sign says RM3 MAZARRON, take this exit and continue along until you see the sign for CAMPOSOL.journey time is approx 75minutes.

The house is in excellent condition.. The kitchen is fully equipped,all electric and tiled throughout , a welcome food pack is included.The spacious bathroom has bath,shower,toilet and bidet. Two good size bedrooms with fitted pine wardrobes,one double and one twin,both bedrooms have large ceiling fans.The lounge also has a large ceiling fan and is furnished in pine with a table and chairs, 2 sofas which convert to double beds, chair, large welsh dresser, coffee table ,side tables ,television cabinet and is very comfortable and pretty.
There is hot and cold air conditioning,a portable air cooling machine for summer and electric radiators and fire for cooler evenings..The windows are double glazed,have flyscreens and all have roller blinds..
For entertainment at home there is a CD player, DVD player, Video player and lots of films and CDs. SatelliteTV includes BBC/ITV/ Movie channels,there are books and games as well.
The kitchen has a washing machine, fridge freezer, electric hob, oven , extractor , microwave , sandwich maker, toaster, iron, blender, kettle , george forman grill/coffee maker,slow cooker etc.

Further details outdoors:
As is common in Spain, the house has a lot of outside living space, there are three terraces , the front terrace has a covered, tiled roof and tiled floor for coolness and shade ,a large table and seating. The tiled solarium area on the roof is secluded for sunbathing and privacy, it has plenty of garden furniture, and 2 washing lines. iThere are also two large storage cupboards built into the roof which contain deckchairs,beach umbrella, beachmats and surfboards.
The back patio has a gas barbecue,table and chairs and an oudoor shower.
This is a quiet and peaceful area but as there are steps up to the front terrace of the house and also from the back patio up to the roof solarium,this house is unsuitable for wheelchair users or the infirm.

The Swimming pool on the development is open July and Aug. entrance charge is €3 per person for the day.
Mazarron Country Club 3 miles away also has a pool and the same entry charge.
Gym/steam/outdoor pool open all year at Casa Azul on Camposol charge €5.00 per person for 4 hours,there are also large gyms in Mazarron town and Bolnuevo( local beach )
There is also a large Sensol hotel near the golf course with spa facilites and large tropical pool which is available to people living on the development
The 18 hole Golf course on the development is a 5 minute walk away,a handicap is required to play.. The Golf Clubhouse has a smart bar, good food and dining facilites and has weekly functions, dances etc.The golf fees are reasonable and there are 10 other golf courses within a 30mile radiusShort break bookings are for 4 nights minimum.
