This detached house, in Camposol Sector A, has room for a total of 9 people plus one infant. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a further separate toilet, a living/dining room and a kitchen.
Downstairs
The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and an oven. It is also well equipped with a multitude of cooking items as well as lots of toddler friendly items and baby utensils including a microwave steriliser etc..
The Lounge has three sofas(one of which is a sofa bed for two people) anda large dining table. There is also a large flatscreen television with satellite viewing of hundreds of channels including most UK channels (eg BBC, ITV, Channel 4) and Sky News. There is also a DVD and CD player. The main bedroom has a luxurious super king size bed and a large en suite bathroom which consists of a shower, toilet, two sinks and a bidet. The second bedroom has a bunk bed and a further large single bed. There is also a large Graco travel cot should you need one as well as a babybath, highchair, bed rail and two stair gates at no extra cost. There is also a large portable playpen for use inside or on the terrace.
Upstairs
There's a spacious bedroom with a kingsize bed and a television with built in dvd player and satellite tv access. The bedroom also has its own en suite bathroom which consists of a shower, toilet,sink and bidet. From the bedroom large patio doors open onto the secluded roof terrace where you may sunbathe or enjoy the stunning views of the area.
There are ceiling fans throughout the inside of the property and also on the front terrace along with soft loungers.
Heaters are also provided should they be needed.
Outside
In the large spacious garden there is a stunning 10 metres by 10 metres private pool which is simply perfect for a large family. There are also several terraces for sunbathing with lie-flat sunloungers and the pool and terrace get sun all day until it goes down late in the evening. Large polynesian tiki-style umbrellas have also recently been built on the terrace to allow lots of extra shade.
For those that enjoy al fresco dining,there is an outside bar-b-que terrace, where up to 10 people can sit beneath a grape vine covered pergola . The bar-b-que is a fantastic large stone chiminea and beats a gas grill hands down.
The garden is very pretty and very secluded with high walls on all sides and lots of bougainvillea shrubs, palms,olive trees and citrus trees.
There is also ample space to park your car both in the car port area of the property and on the quiet residential road outside.
Finally, for those guests who require internet availability. It is free of charge in most of the restaurants/cafes/pubs within walking distance.

In the large spacious garden there is a stunning 10 metres by 10 metres private pool simply perfect for a large family. The pool is clover shaped and one part of the clover is shallow with walk in roman steps which is ideal for small children. There are also several terraces for sunbathing,barbecueing and al fresco dining.
The dining table and benches on the outside bar-b-que terrace seats up to 10 people and the grape-vine covered pergola provides lots of shade if required. The bar-b-que is a fantastic large stone chiminea

Further details
All bed linen/bath towels and beach towels are provided for you so you dont have to fill your casse with beach towels.
Arrival time: 16.00h on day of arrival. Departure time: 10.00h on day of departure. You will be met by our local representative on arrival and she will be on hand to answer any questions you have and sort out any problems during your stay. She will also contact you before your email to find out any special requests you have such as welcome packs etc
Conditions
Payment: of 50% deposit required to secure the booking with the balance being payable 10 weeks before arrival.
We can accept cheques in Sterling.
Euros can be accepted easily as a direct bank payment.
We can also accept any credit cards through PAYPAL but please note that we charge 3.9% extra for this.
Finally we also ask for a standard security deposit of £150 or 150 euros on arrival. This will be repaid on departure.
The villa and all the bath towels/beach towels and linens will be cleaned after your departure and a small charge of 80 euros will be payable to our local agent for this service

BookThe Costa Calida region
The Costa Calida is situated in the South East of Spain and is home to numerous tranquil unspoilt resorts; ideal for a quiet break for couples and families alike. The area is home to Golf Courses, untouched beaches and idyllic walks along the beaches or through the hills. An ideal location for either a summer holiday or a brief escape from the gloomy winter weather at home.
As well as the many sandy beaches, this area offers the opportinity to learn to sail, hire bikes (delivered to the villa) scuba-dive or go horse riding. There are also several golf courses in the area including Polaris World which is a few minutes drive away.
Spain has a very rich and interesting history. Like the city of Cartagena, with several archeological sites, like the roman theatre, or visit one of the museums. At the coast there are numerous bars and the typically spanish tapas bars are open all year round.
The Mazarron / Camposol area
Mazarrón is located on the South Eastern corner of Spain, to the West of the historic city of Cartagena. There are excellent road links and airports at Alicante and Murcia (San Javier - Murcia Regional Airport) offer regular flights to Europe and beyond.There is also a new airport being built which is due to open by March 2012, in nearby Corvera which is only 20 mins from our villa.
Mazarron boasts some of the best beaches in Spain and a wonderful warm climate; it has a great mix of spanish charm and and as such provides an excellent location for a peaceful family holiday.
In the coastal town of Puerto de Mazarrón there are several sandy beaches, which are relatively quiet most of the year. At several places in Puerto de Mazarrón you can practice surfing, jetskiing and scuba diving.
A beautiful Marina has been built in recent years and some of the yachts are a sight to see. For those that are more interested in nightlife there is an exclusive area of trendy clubs near the Marina where you can party till dawn
Camposol
Casa Mateo is situated on Camposol Sector A, which is approx. 5- 7 minutes drive from Mazarrón. It is also only 5 mins drive from Paramount Studios theme park which is being built at the moment.
It isa very peaceful area, with great views of the mountains and great sunsets. Wonderful for any kind of holiday you have in mind, whether it be swimming all day/going to the beach/local culture/golf/walking or just sunbathing and reading a book for two weeks. You can do so much here and in the winter months it is only just over two hours to the ski areas.
Within walking distance from the villa, there are several bars, banks and shops. There is also a large supermarket for all your eating and drinking needs and some lovely restaurants, including a wonderful Spanish restaurant as well as some favourites like Chinese, Indian and Fish and Chips.
Within a 5 minute drive, on Camposol, you will find the Sensol 18 hole golf course and luxury spa hotel.. Polaris World is also only 5 mins drive away

Lots of choice of car rental companies at Murcia and Alicante airports and the soon to be opened CORVERA airport. Gold Car are efficient and very competItive as well as Centauro. There are also the big car hire companies like Avis and Hertz too.
Car hire can also be arranged locally on the Camposol development through Dragontours.
Taxi can be easily be sought from either Murcia airport for approx 50 euros or 90 euros round trip and Alicante Airport 90 euros or 170 euros round trip. These will always vary so it is best to search online ahead of time
Directions from MURCIA airport, join the AP7 heading towards CARTAGENA/MURCIA , just before the exit for
MURCIA the motorway becomes the CT-32. Take the A-30 MURCIA exit and continue on this motorway,take the
2nd exit to SANTA ANA, bear round under the motorway to go off to the left,as you come up the other side of the
road, ,there is a right hand slip exit to SANTA ANA, ignore this and carry on. Further down you will see a sign for
FUENTE ALAMO and ALHAMA, take this turn and carry on until you reach crossroads signposted to LOS
CANOVAS/MAZARRON on the left. Take this turning ,continue on this road for 8KMS to a crossroads
signposted MAZARRON (MU603) on the left. Turn left, you are now 5 minutes away, as you are approaching
you will see URBANISATION CAMPOSOL signposts on your left and right.
Journey time to Camposol is approx 40minutes.
Directions from ALICANTE airport, Drive out of the airport, go straight ahead to T-junction(400 yards ) turn left
and you are now on the slip road taking you to the E15/A7 motorway .The first turn off is ALICANTE/VALENCIA,
look above you and you will see a blue sign saying E15/A7 MURCIA, join the motorway here .When you are
approaching MURCIA ,the E15/A7splits for MURCIA and ALMERIA/ GRANADA (still the E15/A7) You need to be in the right hand lane here,the road bears off to the right .Take the E15/A7 turn to ALMERIA/GRANANA. TURN. . Travel 30kms along this motorway until you see an exit for ALHAMA DE MURCIA and then one for BAHIA DE MAZARRON, The exit sign says FUENTA ALAMO 627A/B, take this exit..You will see 2 slip roads,take the second one which says 627b, polygono industrial, two miles along this road take the MAZARRON turn on the right (MU603 to MAZARRON) Approx 8-10 miles along this road is CAMPOSOL..
Journey time to Camposol is approx 75minutes.

We visited this villa with our 'blended' family of 7, (5 children). The villa is beautifully presented, very clean and spacious with everything a family could ask for on holiday even down to the board games for the afternoons when it is usually too hot for the pool. The large outside space has a great al fresco dining area and the pool is perfect for adults and children alike. The nearby complex of Camposol has several family friendly bars and resturants and is within walking distance. We loved this villa and hope to return there very soon. |

The villa was booked for a special family occasion and "pre-winter break". On arrival we were efficiently met and dispatched to Casa Mateo, which met our hopes and expectations. Both interior and exterior were well presented and put us all into a "holiday spirit". The exterior was very spacious, all activities well catered for; relaxing,dining,swimming,sunbathing. We have had numerous holidays on Camposol, but this villa exceeded expectations. We would definitely use this property again, and recommend to others. |
