Quiet and peaceful, yet only a short 2 minute drive to the Country Club restaurant or for the more able a 5 minute walk. The nearest supermarket, restaurant and golf course is only 7 minutes drive away. Just 12 minutes by car takes you to the nearest beaches. The local market in Puerto de Mazarron is only 8km away where you will find bargains in leather and locally grown fruit and vegetables. The Sierra Espuña is a very pleasant 30 minute drive away.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The land and sea area provide a wealth of key leisure facilities, which make any holiday complete. The many marinas along the coast line can provide courses for the beginner and the more advanced sea person. The sea also provides rowing, water skiing, sea paragliding and diving at any level. The ranges of beaches on offer provide environments for couples, families and explorers.
The less sea able can enjoy the wonderful natural hikes and walks along the coast and hills of the area. A visit to the Sierra Espuna is also a must. You can also enjoy the less energetic walks through the marina and promenades (paseos) where you can stop and absorb the local community at play. Not forgetting the vital stop for local refreshment.
For those of us who love to shop and enjoy the taste of city life you can visit the nearby cities of Murcia and Cartegena which are full of cultural sites and modern shops.
Costa Calida has a vast array of golf courses and sports facilities. The most famous being "La Managa Club". For the keen golfers this is the region to visit and play a round of golf. The Costa Calida (Warm Coast) has fantastic beaches, golf and countryside which, together with its very own micro-climate, provide a wonderful year-round holiday destination. There are around 320 days of sunshine a year, with temperatures averaging 32ºc in summer and 18 ºc in winter - and the sea temperature rarely falls below 18 ºc.
The coastline of the Costa Calida is made up of small inlets, coves and beautiful unspoilt beaches with mountain backdrops. This is undiscovered Spain (as yet!), unspoilt by commercialism but popular with Spaniards who flock here during the summer months - but the number and expanse of the beaches ensure that they remain uncrowded. It is nothing like the concrete jungles that blot the landscape of some of the other Spanish costas.
Mazarron / Mazarron Country Club area
SANITY is situated in a prime position on Mazarron Country Club which is located 15 minutes inland from the wonderful sandy beaches and coves of the Costa Calida (Warm Coast) resort of Puerto de Mazarron. The Country Club has been developed in a valley surrounded by mountains that protect it from the Messeta wind but allows the gentle sea breezes to filter through. Just a couple of minutes walk away are the Country Club´s communal facilities of a large tropical swimming pool with bar and children´s pool (summer months only - small fee), tennis courts, petanque pitches and a large bar/restaurant which is open all year round.
As a result of its history, the streets of Mazarrón contain interesting monuments. Those to consider are its Town Hall and the Former Cultural Centre, which are of Modernist style and stand as indications of the splendour of the beginning of the century. Behind the Town Hall is the church of San Andrés (16th century), with a beautiful Mudejar coffered ceiling and nearby, the Convent of La Purísima (the patron saint of the town).
Besides the history you can also spend a little money by purchasing the wonderful fresh produce grown locally at the Mazarron Town indoor Market at Plaza del Convento which is open Monday to Saturday. There is also an open air market held in the parking area in Plaza del Convento every Saturday. At the Puerto there is a weekly Sunday market held close to the Bus Station where you can buy everything from shoes to bedding and is the largest in the Murcia area.
Of course the area has an abundance of beautiful beaches which cover all the visitor's requirements. There are beaches for young children, which are shallow and calm and for the more daring a nudist beach.
How to get there
Mazarron Country Club is well placed with several choices to get the best deals with the no-frills charter and scheduled airlines. Murcia´s San Javier Airport is 40 minutes from Mazarron Country Club via the new toll road . Alicante Airport is an easy one and a quarter hour motorway journey along the A7-E15. You can even fly to Almeria which is approximately one and three quarter hours away by motorway.

Further details outdoors: There is a large swimming pool, spacious garden area and terracing with ample room for sunbathing. A shaded patio area for dining al fresco and a separate bbq area for you to enjoy outdoor living in peaceful surroundings.
There is an enclosed area at the rear of the property housing a washing machine, gas hot water boiler and space to dry clothing.
Parking is available off road in front of the property
