Villa Greatrex is a 2 bed detached villa on a 300 m2 plot with an 8 x 4 private swimming pool. The outside area gets full sunshine all day as the sun rises out the front of the villa and sets at the back. Enjoy sitting on the patio, with the mountain views, drinking a glass or two of sangria and watching the sun set in the evening.
Our villa has air conditioning units in both bedrooms and ceiling fans in every room. It also benefits from a playstation 2 games console and English TV if the younger ones will allow you to relax around the pool in the sun. Mazarron Country Club is a relatively quiet urbanisation with an on-site Restaurant/Bar which hosts some evening entertainment in the Summer months. The communal pool is a delight for a few Euro a day if you want to "people watch".

Our Villa is fully furnished to a high standard. It has all the comforts of home including a playstation 2 with numerous games including an eye-toy game for the youngsters. DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a CD/radio cassette player and flat screen TV with cable television so you won't miss your favourite English programmes. There are a selection of books for your enjoyment and some family games.
One double bedroom which benefits from a king size bed and one twin bedroom with large built in wardrobes for ample storage, both fitted with an air conditioning unit. Kitchen is fitted with microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, extractor, kettle and toaster.
Bathroom has usual amenities and a large walk in shower.

8 x 4 pool with steps to sit and read and catch the sun. Some pool toys are supplied, 4 sun loungers plus 2 reclining loungers, glass top table with 4 chairs and an extra plastic table with 4 chairs. Outside space benefits from being fully tiled with non-slip tiles and plenty of space to follow the sun.
The front garden has our very own lemon tree which should be ripe for picking this summer, just right for your g & t's. There is also a stone table and chairs in the front ideal for early morning sun.
Lockable gates leading to off road parking on drive.
Please note that sun-tan lotion/oil must be removed before entering the swimming pool as this clogs up the pipes and renders the pool unusable. There is an outside shower and if lotion/oil is applied half an hour before entering the pool and the shower used prior to swimming then this problem should not occur. If extra maintenance to clear the pool is required during your stay then this will incur a charge.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
On the holiday commencement date the property will be available for occupation by the hirer at 4.00 p.m. local time. On the departure date the hirer (including all members of the party and their belongings) must vacate the property by 10.00 a.m. local time. Alteration of these times will only be permitted with written consent from us.
Guests are asked to maintain security of the property whilst in residence and to lock all doors, windows, shutters and rejas when leaving the property. It is also advisable to keep the front gates locked at ALL TIMES so as not to attract salespeople to enter the property.
The Costa Calida region
In the South West region of Spain on the Mediterranean coast is Costa Calida (warm coast); a relatively undiscovered part of Spain where a lot of Spanish holiday. Estimated 300 days of sunshine a year. The town of Mazarron and the Puerto de Mazarron are a short drive away for shops and restaurants and a newly improved luxury marina and paseo (boulevard) with lots of al fresco dining along the sea front. 30-35 kilometres of beaches in the region with many beautiful cliffs and coves for you to discover.
Nearby cities of interest are Murcia for shopping, water park and historic buildings and the Port of Cartagena with its Roman ruins are well worth a day out.
Mazarron Old Town is only a 10 minute drive from the villa. There you will find plenty of shops, some beautiful old buildings and a Saturday market, ideal for fresh fruit and veg and numerous other "finds". To the back of Mazarron Market Square you will find Bar Louis, a superb authentic Spanish tapas bar where the locals go.
Mazarron Country Club is an exclusive urbanisation benefiting from its own Restaurant/Bar where you food simple Spanish meals and tapas are served. There is a large tropical swimming pool with child swimming area on site (small charge made daily) which during the Summer months has a resident lifeguard and snack and refreshment bar.
There are numerous beaches all within a short drive namely Peurto de Mazarron, where you will also find the newly developed luxury Marina and plentiful shops, Bolnuevo with it's famous eroded rocks. Percheles beach is very secluded apart from National Holidays.
