The downstairs bedrooms have twin single beds with fitted wardrobes and a main bathroom, both bathrooms have a shower.
The lounge has a 3 seater and a 2 seater sofa, plus a dining table and 6 chairs, coffee table and TV.
The kitchen has a fully fitted oven with hob and grill, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board.
Each room in the villa has ceiling fan lights, which circulate the villa extensively.

The villa has a private sun terrace at the top of villa, with a separate utility area outside with washing machine and sink.
It also has its own driveway with parking for 2 cars behind secure gates.
The Costa Calida region
Offering the hottest weather in Spain, the ‘warm coast’ lives up to its name. The summer lasts from Easter to November, making a great place for an off-season getaway. The lagoon of Mar Menor offers warm shallow waters, ideal swimming conditions for children. The coast is a must for sports fanatics, with the huge Club La Manga offering three golf courses amongst other facilities.
30 minutes away by car is the next big town called Cartagena which offers plenty of shops, museums, and is a very historical city. Murcia, another historic city, is 30 minutes away by car and, again, offers bars, shops lots of historical sites.
The Mazarron / Mazarron Country Club area
Mazarron is a small fishing port on the coast of Costa Calida, it has a lot of Spanish holiday homes and is a typical Spanish resort, very unspoilt, with spectacular scenery and views.
There is a golf course which is a 5 minute drive by car to a golf course site called Camposal, also La Manga which is 40 minutes away. There is scuba diving on offer in the centre of Mazarron in the port they offer regular trips daily.
There are several sandy clue flag beaches along the Mazarron coastline, plenty of restaurants and bars in the town and shops.
There are markets in Totana and Mazarron 3 times a week but there is also a new shopping mall 10 minutes away with a full supermarket and a smaller 24 hr shop for convenience. The restaurant on site offers tapas and entertainment evenings.
There are tennis courts and a petanque arena on site.

Our Stay at this villa was great, the villa was clean and had everything we needed. It had a nice size garden, so the children could play safely. The villa did not have a pool which was fine especially as we have two young children, I did not have to watch them continually in case they went into it. The communial pool was a five minute walk down the road, there was no charge for the pool when we stayed. A five minute drive and we were in the main town of Mazarron, which has plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach is in this part and we went there several times for pic-nics. You could also go to the next complex Camposal, where there was a selection of local shops, restaurants and bars. That was only five mintues by car. You will need a car to get around and to go sight seeing. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return later this year. . |

The villa is on a pleasant yet unfinished urbanization. We found it light, airy and clean. Unfortunately there were a number of problems. The secure parking is inaccessible given the height of the kerb. The garden was very overgrown so access to the washing machine and line were hampered by a number of tall, spikey weeds. The ad specifies a sofabed, however this did not exist so 2 of our children had to sleep on sofas. The "free" pool worked out at 28 euros a day for the family - a considerable unplanned expense for a 2 week holiday. Any crumbs on the floor attracted a number of tiny ants. The £100 security bond has still not been returned after 6 weeks of being home and emails are ignored. Although we would not hesitate to stay in this area again, this villa is definately a no go. |
