About this location

The Provence region

The villa is situated in the village of Mazan in the Vaucluse in the heart of Provence-Alps-Riviera region.

The property is located in quiet residential area yet only 5 mins to shops and 10 to the village centre. It is not overlooked by any neighbours and has a view over Mont Ventoux and Mont Mirail.

It is 15km to Isle sur la Sorgue, 25km to Avignon and 80km to the Mediterranean beaches.

sun, the mountains and the sea to shape our planet, the leftovers of each were used to create a paradise: Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, the land stretched between the summits of the Alps and the expanse of the Mediterranean sea. CARPENTRAS is a charming little town with cafes, shops and restaurants. Because of its geographical location Carpentras has always been a meeting place, a coming together of paths of communication of contact from the plains to mountainous regions of the Vaucluse and therefore a centre of commerce.

Weekly Market :

Fridays from 8 am to 12.30 pm in the downtown and Jean Jaures drive.

This market offers a wealth of colours, tastes and smells. Here you will find products from the land from Provencial artisan crafts and sweets to fresh fruits and vegetables, dishware and flowers.

The Sunday Afternoon Flea Market and Antique Market :

Under the shade of the plane trees in the Jean Jaures drive from 12pm to 7pm second-hand goods or antiques. Free entrance.

The Grand Flea Market :

In the first half of August in the streets and town squares of the downtown. A one of a kind opportunity to empty out your attic and sell all your unwanted affairs. At the same time, bargain, haggle and find some great deals.

Located at the confluence of the Rhone and Durance rivers,

AVIGNON is well known for its ramparts, its famous Pont

Saint-Benezet and the Palais des Papes.

Because of its imposing, majestic architecture this palace is classified, like the pyramids, as a World Heritage of Humanity site.

The beauty of the medieval past in Avignon never ceases to delight. The ramparts, the magnificent Palace of the Popes, the sea of red-tiled roofs, clock-towers and steeples, and of course the graceful Pont d Avignon create a magical setting.
