The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Vaucluse region
The sites nearby include Gordes, the most picturesque hill-top Provencal village, famous for its Bories, Fontaine De Vaucluse, L’Isle sur la Sorgue for its antiques and the wonderful villages of the Luberon; Bonnieux, Menerbes, La Coste and Oppede le Vieux
The Mediterranean coast is an hour away and the Carmargue national park, famous for its wildlife and bird population, is about the same distance
There is a golf course not far away and practically on the doorstep are a host of activities ; Golf, Canoeing, Tennis, Horse riding, excellent mountain bike riding trails, walking………. and so the list goes on! Needless to say, there is no excuse to be bored with this location!
If eating and restaurants are a favourite, you will be spoilt for choice nearby. Most of the towns and villages have great spots to get some good food and there are also some gems waiting to be found, tucked away in converted farmhouses in the heart of the Provencal countryside.
Maubec area
Maubec is a lovely little traditional Provencal village
It has some small shops, a Boulangerie and general store for example, and not far away are the larger towns of Cavaillon and Coustellet, well equipped for most requirements
The local markets are abundant with all the local villages and towns having a great selection on most days of the week

In the living area there are three double bed settees around a traditional Provencal fireplace with a 70cm TV and DVD player.
There are doors from here out to the south facing garden
An open plan kitchen fitted with a farm table, sink, dish washer, fridge & freezer, hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave oven and storeroom with a washing machine & storage area
A mezzanine of approx. 30 square metres, overhanging the living room, with two double beds (120) & two single beds (90)
In the sleeping area of the house (approx 60m2) there is a bathroom with bath, shower, wash basin, WC and some cupboards
A bedroom with a double bed, a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom (shower and wash hand basin), again facing south
A second bedroom with a double bed, facing west
Another bedroom with a double bed, facing west.
The bedrooms all have access to the terrace
Further details outdoors: Outside there is a garden with a good sized lawn
The 10 x 4.5m swimming pool is protected by an alarm and faces south.
Deck chairs/sun loungers are provided around the pool.
There is also a great summer kitchen, with barbecue, sink, cooking hob and separate toilets with shower to save having to go inside the house
