This is a genuine Mongolian Yurt imported by the owner from Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia. IIt is sited in a beautiful situation, next to a stream adjacent to a wood.There are open fields to one side with lovely views . The yurt faces south and gets the sun all day long. Wild ducks feed in the stream. Buzzards can be seen in the sky overhead. Inside the yurt is a delight! A painted wooden floor, ornately patterned roof timbers,and supports with a matching door give it an atmospere of peace and tranquility.It is furnished with a Mongolian table and stools., an antique pine bed and character furniture.There is even a Mongolian stove and free firewood to keep you warm and cosy. Light and airy in Summer, snug in the deepest of Winters.

Peter, the owner thinks they are probably three of the best in the country! All are about fifteen minutes drive away. You could even walk, cycle or catch a bus.
Ye Olde Gate Inne, Brassington. Real ales, open fires and excellent food. Not open Mondays or Tuesday lunchtime.
The Barley Mow, Kirk Ireton. Real ales from barrels behind the bar. Open fires, food lunchtimes only.
