Westfields is a lovely 2 bedroom chalet on a working farm with Peace and tranquility adjoining the chalet is a field where in the summer you can see new born calves and if you are lucky you may even see one borne . The chalet is on the edge of a small village called Crich. The famed Derbyshire viewpoint of Crich Stand which is clearly visible and just a short walk away overlooks the nearby Tramway Village. Crich was the village of Cardale in the TV medical drama 'Peak Practice' and it is an ideal base for enjoying all the attractions and scenery of the World Heritage Derwent Valley and nearby Peak District National Park. The chalet is an ideal location for some excellent walks it is a paradise for walkers and ramblers with lots of cosy pubs around.

There is plenty to do in the Peak District and Derbyshire all year round. The National Park is wonderful covering 555sq. miles of land, with hundreds of rights of way. You can find peace and tranquility in this beautiful region. It is a paradise for walkers and ramblers and with cosy pubs and beauty all around you will find yourself getting back to nature.
Derbyshire also has some of the finest old houses in the country within its boarders such as the stunning Chatsworth House with its beautiful gardens or the stately Haddon Hall. Crich has the Tramway Museum to visit with its collection of vintage trams also one of the most famous landmarks of Derbyshire the Crich Tower.
The Matlock / Crich area
Crich village one is only mile away where there is a chip shop, bakers, pub restaurant, tea rooms, butchers, post office, hair salon, chemist, and lots more. If excitement is what you are after there is Alton towers within easy driving distance. crich also has the tramway museum. also bakewell a small market town which hosts the annual bakewell show first wednesday/thursday in august.There is also a good market every monday.
Chatsworth house and gardens -garden centre - farm shop - also a must is the house at christmas with all the lights.Matlock and matlock Bath a small sea side with out the sea.for the children there is High ts of Abram and a must Gullivers Kingdom
