The chalet was clean, well equipped and an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside. We loved staying near a real working farm, and the views of the fields were stunning. The chalet itself was larger than we needed for the two of us, and would be an ideal place to stay with kids. We visited Cromford, Matlock and the Crich Tramway Museum. The walk into Crich to the nearby pubs, café/tearooms and Indian restaurant was just the right distance, and we were surprised at how little we needed the car during our stay. Janet was really friendly and helpful, and we will be coming back soon. |

The chalet is in an excellent location, owner very friendly and helpfull, the chalet was warm and well equipped was a little apprehensive given the few earlier reviews but it was great no complaints. Would definitely recommend and hoping to come back in the summer. Thanks Janet |

This small and cosy cottage is situated in a delightful spot. However, it is quite grubby (the cooker hood, above the hob, was thick with grease and I doubt the filter had been changed in months).... more |
