"Home from home"

We travelled here for a family holiday and we all found it easy to get to from the North, the South and as far as Amsterdam. We stayed with 9 adults and 3 children aged 2-9 years old and everyone loved it. We especially liked the enormous garden. The rooms are all beautiful and the beds comfortable and there's plenty of bathrooms and space so you're not stepping on each other. The extra's, such as pool table and ping pong, in this place are great, and keep everyone entertained. We didn't even have time to try the sauna.
The amenities are close by with a sainsbury's not far in Matlock and Crich's market place is just down the road with a small grocers. They also have a butchers which we could recommend and used for a BBQ. We also ordered a takeaway from the curry house in Crich and enjoyed it too.
We visited the tram museum with the kids and this is great as it's just a 5 minute walk with a pushchair up the road. We had three boys aged 2-9 so it's sometimes difficult to keep them all entertained. The 4 year old and the 9 year old loved traveling up and down on all the trams and there was a great woodland sculpture walk to go with the 2 year old for a little nap and a soft play and arts and crafts for after. We had a really great time.
