Villa Antica is one of the most prestigious and historical places to stay in the area. In a setting befitting of a king, it combines elegance and class with peace and harmony. With these characteristics, it is a fantastic location for luxury holidays and memorable events and occasions , even weddings. Because of its wonderful position, on the extreme tip of the peninsula, it has an emotionally inspiring environment. From every window and balcony, from every terrace and from the solarium, your eyes fall upon Capri, Ischia, Marina della Lobra and Mount Vesuvius. The villa has 5 bedrooms each with luxury bathrooms and lounges complete with antique furniture guaranteeing a stay of maximum relaxation. All rooms have large windows or balconies with sea views and are characterized by the wealth of furniture and vintage furnishings. One of the rooms is kept perfectly intact because it is believed that that is the room where the king of Naples, Joachim Murat, stayed in October 1808! Built on two levels, the ground floor and first floor both have sea-view terraces. A sumptuous and historical staircase, enriched with 18th century mosaics, connects the ground and first floors and the solarium.

Villa Antica, situated in the village of Santa Maria Annunziata (Massa Lubrense region) in one of the most beautiful views on Capri and the Bay of Naples, is not only a great place to spend a relaxing holiday but also offers the advantage of a privileged position as a starting point to explore and discover the beauty of the surroundings.

From here, it is possible to reach many tourist resorts, including: the nearby Sorrento, the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Naples and Vesuvius, Capri and Ischia and even through the beautiful Amalfi drive to discover the pearls of Amalfi Coast with Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, and many other places.

Signs of the regal presence are evident in the villa's structure, the furnishings and the gardens where you can wander amongst century-old trees and enjoy moments of utter serenity, harmony and splendour.

Villa Antica is a place in which one cannot help but feel like a king! As you cross the magnificent entrance, you can feel the tranquillity of the place, where elegance and class unite with a past rich in history: it was right here, as the inscription on the front of the villa gives testimony, that in 1808, Gioacchino Murat, King of Naples, planned the siege against the English in the fight to recapture Capri.

The villa's facade looks stupendous, especially when illuminated at night, with its artistic wrought iron fencing, paving and century-old olive tree. The windows and balconies give fragments of history to reflect on: the coat of arms of the Sersale family, and two inscriptions giving testimony to when Joachin Murat, King of Naples, stayed here during the capture of Capri in 1808!

There is a housekeeper who resides in the villa and is always available to help guests. Villa Antica has all comforts: swimming pool, telephone, internet connection, independent heating, car park, beautiful bed linen and towels and outdoor barbecue. Because of its specific structure, the villa is not suitable for children under 6 years old.
