The Campania region

The unique archaeological heritage we can admire today in Campania is the result of centuries and centuries of foreign peoples ruling over this region and influencing its arts and civilization. From the temples of the age of the Magna Graecia and the buried towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum, to the masterpieces kept in the several museums and churches of the region, and the archaeologial excavations of prehistoric sites. Campania is a must if you want to find out about the development of human history and civilization.

Campania has always delighted the palate of its visitors offering a wide range of delicate wines for all pockets and typical, delicious dishes. The endless fantasy of its inhabitants has allowed magic combinations of the fruits of the sea with the fruits of the land originating recipes which have become famous all over the world. Campania is the home of pizza, mozzarella, lemons, and coffee: a real ritual for a worthy end of a meal.

Well equipped beach facilities and uncontaminated bays will welcome visitors looking for relax and crystal-clear water. The islands of the Gulf of Naples, the Amalfi coast, the domitian littoral and Cilento represent only a few of the hundreds of kilometres of coast that Campania offers its visitors. If you are looking for a new way to live and enjoy this marvellous sea (whose clearness has earned “blue flags” – certifications given by authorities for unpolluted waters) you cannot miss an underwater archaeological tour.

Massa Lubrense

Sant’Agata sui due golfi is located, as the name itself suggests, between Naple’s and Salerno’s gulf on the top of Sorrento hills and offers a beautiful view as well as nice excursions for trekking and riding lovers such as: Baia di Ieranto, Punta della Campanella with the ruins of Atena’s temple, San Costanzo mountain and Crapolla’s fiord. Sant’Agata is the ideal place also for who loves the sea: by bus in 10 minutes you can reach Marina del Cantone, crowded by a lot of VIPs in summertime thanks its good restaurants, too. By the way, although a small town, in Sant’Agata there are three very important restaurants even mentioned on the celebrated Michelin guide book. “La Taverna del capitano”, “I quattro passi” and “Don Alfonso 1870” are famous all over the world and there, it is possible to eat typical sea food dishes, local cheese and good wine.

We can't agree with your complains and we retain your review absolutely not justified

Location: as stated in advert, the apartment is located in Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, and Sorrento is at 9 kms (written in the advert)

Drains: The drains' issue was reported by phone on Sunday 25th August at 8 pm. We came with a plumber next day Monday 26th August and fixed the issue at 6.30 pm.

Refund: We sent a 1 night + cleaning fee refund a few days ago and asked to wait 7 working days before to see on the guest's account.

We constantly work to guarantee our guests the best service and comfort, we feel this review is not justified.
