Miracapri is situated in a very special location: charming country environment, yet short driving distance to the sea. In an elevated position at 350 m. above the water, is surrounded by a thick olive trees vegetation and parkland. It is blessed by the whole scenery of the Gulf of Naples: the Isle of Capri immediately in front, then the islands of Ischia and Procida, followed by the northern tip of the Gulf of Naples stretching all the way to Mount Vesuvius. A small no - through road leads to the house at walking distance from the tiny but compact village of Termini, with all shops facilities: a pub, an excellent restaurant, ceramic shop and limoncello workshop. A large swimming pool with breathtaking views, part of a residential club, is located at walking distance above the house. The whole area is heaven for walkers and food lovers: it is crossed by a network of ancient pedestrian tracks, linking every hamlet of the Sorrento Peninsula to old farmhouses, little coves and bays, local restaurants and trattorias.

The Campania region
The Sorrento Peninsula, arguably one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean, can be divided ideally between the side facing North, looking at the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi side, facing South and looking towards the Gulf of Salerno. There is much more to it, though, than the lovely towns of Sorrento and Positano. All around the Peninsula there is a whole world to be discovered, still relatively unknown to mass tourism. Seven villages and many hamlets, each with their own history and traditions, are spread over a large area, most of which is under the municipality of Massalubrense. Looking over Capri the Bay of Naples, this area hosts some of the most exclusive villas of the Peninsula, offering a unique combination of idyllic, peaceful countryside and proximity to the more famous resorts of Positano, Sorrento and Capri. Along the coast are small pebbly beaches, enchanting bays and sheltered coves, that can be best explored on hired boats
Massa Lubrense area
Massalubrense is the main municipality of the Peninsula and is a heaven for food lovers. Many eating houses, ranging from Michelin star restaurants to local trattorie, invite to savour the beautiful food of this fertile land and local shops display an abundance of fresh produce. During summer, every village hosts festivals; walking tours available( also individual) The house provides a book with every information you will need.

Naples Capodichino is the nearest airport, at approx. 70 Kms. Sunny and spacious, solidly built, features exposed timber beams, beautiful cotto tiling and is furnished with a mix of country and antique furniture. The house consists of: * Sitting room with open fireplace * Dining area with two sets of French windows with shutters, opening to garden * Well equipped kitchen/breakfast room with French windows to garden; utility/storage room * Double bedroom, furnished with local antiques, with French windows to terrace * Tiled bathroom with tub and shower * Twin bedroom (can be made into double) with French windows to terrace * Tiled shower room * Smaller twin bedroom - beds cannot be pushed together
Further details outdoors: The front garden, paved in stone with a grassy area, is equipped with an in built stone barbecue, outdoor table and chairs, sun beds and a shower. Shade is provided by wind – out awnings and by olive and fruit trees which surround the house. A side terrace runs along the two main bedrooms and a roof top solarium offers further outdoor space and amazing views and sunsets - ideal for pre dinner drinks!
