Villa | 6 bedrooms | sleeps 12
The villa lies in the residential area called San Montano, 4 km from Sorrento, in what was once a fishermen's village and is now an agricultural center renowned for the production of a particular kind of lemon. It was a holiday resort long before the advent of modern tourism, with its houses and miniature gardens leading down towards the sea and with the island of Capri providing a spectacular backdrop. Villa Bouganville has preserved a beautiful old lemon-orchard, which is surrounded by a portico. The terraced garden allows one to enjoy some of the most beautiful views in the world and additionally at one end of it there is a swimming pool (4,5x10 m) for guests' exclusive use.
The villa is divided into two buildings that are independent, but joined together and as a whole faces toward the large garden and the sea, creating charming little nooks which enable you to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere typical of this area to the fullest. The dependance has its own independent entrance and has the same high-quality characteristics as the villa. Furnished with antique pieces and embellished with shells and copper antiques, everything in the house recalls traditional customs of the area while at the same time its closeness to the sea.
Villa Bouganville is equipped with telephone, satellite TV, VHS, stereo with CD player, air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living-room, a washing-machine, dishwasher, grill, microwave oven, direct access to the sea with 1 sun-shade, 4 deck-chairs and a changing-room with shower. From the beach there is a footpath of about 1 km that leads straight to a little village on the sea called Marina della Lobra where you will find a bar and a food shop. The villa owners are also able to organize cooking classes in their villa in Sorrento upon request.

The Campania region
History, culture, natural beauty, crystal waters, dazzling beaches...and food to die for. Italy really does have it all. From Venice's architectural jewels in the north to Puglia's sun soaked olive growths in the south, there's something for everyone in this country of infinite variety.
Whether you choose to spend your time exploring the Adriatic Coast, with its white sands and dramatic promontories, or the gentle rolling hills of Umbria, where almost every view is reminiscent of a Renaissance painting, your time in Italy will be time well spent.
And let's not forget the Italian Lakes, whose serene and ageless splendour has beguiled visitors for centuries. As has the island charm and Sicily and Sardinia, two very different yet equally enchanting holiday destinations. Last, but by no means least, is there any other city on the planet that can match Rome for its combination of ancient history and cosmopolitan style?
Prepare to relax in the most enchanting surrounds you have ever seen...
Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO the Amalfi Coast is home to some of the best-loved and most beautiful coastal towns in the world, Positano and her less famous sister (and all the better for that!) Praiano and the ancient town of Amalfi, the town that gives the coast its name.
