From the cottage, one can easily reach the most important areas of this region : These include the magnificent islands of Capri and Ischia, the beautiful Amalfi coastline, Positano and Ravello and the world famous archaeological sites of Pompei and Herculaneum. The village is also famous for the "Don Alfonso restaurant" which has two Michelin Stars and can also be reached by the nearby beaches which offer sunbathing and relax for the guests.

The Campania region
S.Agata sui due Golfi is situated in the Campania region in the south of Italy. Here guests can enjoy a warm and sunny climate for 9 months of the year and a mild winter climate. The capital city of the Campania region is Naples, said to be the most chaotic of Italy's cities but also without a doubt it's most colourful. Guests can enjoy the glorious food of the region including the pizza, which was created in Naples and also the fabulous pasta dishes, tempting sweets and good local wines. Within easy reach from S.Agata are the archaeological ruins of Pompei and Herculaneum, the famous ancient vulcano "Vesuvius, the world famous islands of Capri and Ischia and the romantic Amali coast with it's famous towns of Positano and Ravello. Sorrento is only a short drive and this bustling town offers great restaurants and pizzerias, local crafts, a good nightlife and very good connections to the islands, the Amalfi coastline and Naples.
Massa Lubrense area
Delightful cottage situated in a country garden in the small town of S.Agata Sui Due Golfi situated about 9 kms from Sorrento and one of the pearls in the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno facing Capri. Perched on a hill it offers a series of views over the sea and the two bays. The town offers local country walks stretching for about 100 kms which cover the entire area and are well signposted. Maps can also be found at the local tourist office which give good directions for the various itineraries. Other attractions include excellent restaurants and here in the town there is one of the top restaurants in Italy, "Don Alfonso". Guests can also try the many local agricultural products which include: Lemons, walnuts, olives and grapes and throughout the year there are many festivals to celebrate these. The town offers entertainment throughout the summer months in the main square with local folklore and offers typical dishes and specialities of the region.

Further details indoors: The lady owner of the house is Scottish and speaks fluent english and offers her guests warm hospitality typical of her home country and of southern Italy, also, Sheena was a tourist guide for many years and is therefore able to give guests valuable information for seeing the Campania region at it's best Pls note that the cottage has a colour satellite tv.
Further details outdoors: Private parking is included in the price. The cottage has a large garden for eating "al fresco" and a terrrace for sunbathing, and is completely surrounded by orange, walnut,olive and lemon trees. The most important feature of the cottage is that there is no disturbance from traffic or other houses and is therefore ideal for those of you who want a completely relaxing holiday.
