About the home

Giuditta 2 is a pretty apartment part of a little cluster of cottages situated in a gorgeous position on the Sorrento coast overlooking the bay of Naples. It opens onto a courtyard terrace, with built in barbecue/pizza oven, perfect for dining al fresco, and has a further terrace on the roof with stunning sea views. Close by in the garden is a pretty swimming pool built cleverly into the hillside also enjoying a beautiful panorama of the sea and Mount Vesuvius in the distance.

The apartment is simply and comfortably furnished and has modern facilities and air conditioning, It is also in an excellent location for exploring the area. The nearest town, Sant’Agata, is just 1.5km away and has a selection of shops, famous restaurants and local bus connections. Cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of characteristic streets lined with shops and pavement cafes is only 11 km away. The picturesque towns of Positano and Amalfi are less than half an hour’s drive or can be reached by local bus and there are ferry services from both to the islands of Capri and Ischia. Further afield are the archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano, at the feet of the volcano Vesuvius.

Giuditta 2 is perfect for a relaxing holiday enjoying the swimming pool, sea views and out door dining and when you can tear yourself away, the amazing towns, sights and beaches of the Amalfi coast are all within easy reach and a joy to explore.

The apartment has its entrance via the courtyard terrace which opens directly into the living area at ground level: The living area has a kitchen corner with cooker (4 gas rings, electric oven) fridge/freezer and dining table and chairs. On the same level is a double bedroom, twin bedroom and shower room with shower cubicle, basin bidet, w.c. and hairdryer.
4 stairs lead to a further double bedroom and shower room with shower cubicle, basin bidet, w.c. and hairdryer.
From the living area a spiral stair case leads to a gallery floor with two single beds (which can accommodate 2 extra persons on request/payable locally).

The apartment opens onto its own private courtyard terrace with table and chairs for dining al fresco and pizza oven/barbeque. External steps (no hand rail) lead to a roof terrace equipped with easy chairs and enjoying a fabulous view of the sea and the Bay of Naples.

Built into the hillside again enjoying lovely sea views is the swimming pool (7.5m x 3.5m) which is shared only by this apartment and another two (also rented) at this property. There is a communal washing machine for guests use. The village of Sant’Agata is just 1.5km away and has a selection of shops and restaurants, 11 km the town of Sorrento.

Note: Parking is available inside the property. The access road / gate is only approximately 1.70m wide, therefore suitable for small/medium sized cars only.

There are three apartments in total at this property. Giuditta 2 as described here and and 2 others (one with 2 bedrooms the other with 1 bedroom) which are also available for rent. Taken together they can accommodate larger parties seeking private accommodation.

25% of the rental cost on booking and the balance of 75% to be received by us two months before the beginning of the rental period. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or by bank transfer (bank transfer coordinates are detailed on our rental agreement).

Any other local costs, admin fees, extra person charges, cautionary breakage deposits are payable locally on arrival.

Conditions

Booking normally run from Saturday to Saturday on a weekly (or multiples of) basis. During some rental periods (not high season) it may be possible to arrange flexible arrival days and other durations of stay. Please inquire for details.

The Campania region

This wonderful area inspired writers and composers such as Goethe and Wagner, who were awed with its beauty. Cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of characteristic streets lined with shops and pavement cafes is only 11 km away and a joy to explore.

The famous towns of the Amalfi coast are just around the corner. Picturesque Positano and Amalfi perched prettily on the hillside overlooking the sea are less than half an hour’s drive or can be reached by local bus. There are ferry services from Sorrento and Amalfi to the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia.

Boat trips along the coast are also available locally which is a lovely way to see the coastal fishing towns from the sea.

The Massa Lubrense / Sant'Agata Sui Due Golfi area

Sant'Agata is just 1.5 kms away and has a selection of local facilities including shops and restaurants.

Massa Lubrense is a pretty town with a good array of amentities.
