Massa Carrara Province / San Carlo Terme area
For a holiday with a difference go to Casa Evelina. This large detached luxury villa is situated in a outstanding position in the lovely themal spa village of San Carlo Terme and is suitable both for 'get-away-from-it-all' relaxation and as a centre for touring. The thermal hydromineral spa waters are famous for their healing properties.
The spas are particularly efficacious in the treatment of kidney ailments and are used by the Italian Health Service. The Terme di San Carlo spa is open from mid-May to mid-October. San Carlo Terme has a selection of hotels, eating establishments, a grocery store and a pharmacy. Just a short drive away are the sights, shops, bars, nightclubs, cinemas, sports and cultural facilities etc. of Massa town.
The beautiful beaches of the Versilian Riviera are just 10km away and the Cinque Terre, the Rennaissance cities of Pisa, Lucca and Florence, the mountains of the Alpe Apuane and the medieval villages of the Lunigiana and Garfagnana can be easily reached by car and train.

Massa Carrara Province is well served by low cost airlines which fly in to 3 airports that are all about 45mins away - Pisa, Parma and Genoa.

Further details indoors: It is interesting to note that Casa Evelina was occupied by the German military command during the second world war.
The villa was surrounded by German gun emplacements which used its elevated position for the shelling of the naval port of La Spezia in early 1945 as part of Hitler's 'scorched earth' policy after the Italian armistice.
Further details outdoors: Beautiful, completely private, landscaped gardens of around an acre. From its elevation of 300 metres the property enjoys stunning views over Massa and the beautiful Versilian Riviera. Ample patio, sunbathing and barbeque areas.
Conditions
1. Lets normally run Saturday to Saturday. However if you have different requirements please provide us with your needs and we will endeavour to oblige.
2. The arrival times for this property are from 4.00pm onwards and the property must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. Please note that we cannot vary these times due to the need to thoroughly clean the property between arrivals.
3. 25% deposit at the time of booking and the balance no later than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. We can accept payments in either Euros or GBP. Payment can be made by cheque, direct deposit, bank draft, wire transfer or money order. A refundable security deposit of £200 is payable with the balance of the rental fee.
4. All holiday bookings are subject to standard Terms & Conditions.
