Beautiful bungalow in Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) with lounge, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a terrace. In perfect condition, in a walking distance from the beach, recently reformed, with air condition and a private parking for 2 cars.
The bungalow is on Oasis full of palms, is in front of Maspalomas beach. It's the best beach of Gran Canaria, awarded by European Union with blue flag, full of beautiful yellow dunes and a lot of palms with protected animal species. The beach has nice promenade along the coast full of shops, restaurants, perfect to walk, run, cycling next to the beach.

Next to shopping centre called boulevard 'El Faro'. Meloneras that is the newest tourist area in the south of the island with the nicest and most luxurious shops, restaurants, bars and the famous casino.
You can enjoy a lot of high quality restaurants for all purchasing powers. Gran Italia, Maximiliam, Sansara, Senador, Churrasco, etc.
It is an exceptional place, you can a beach day, shopping, camel routes, windsurfing, go to the mountains, etc.
Near places: Mogan, Fataga, San Bartolome de Tirajana Mountain (we are here but in the beach side).
Little far away places: Las Palmas (Capital), Teror, San Mateo, Tejeda (Roque Nublo), Agaete, Guia, Galdar, etc.
The good thing about the location of this apartment is that it is possible to walk to many places without a car.
We welcome you with a wine bottle and fruit basket tipical of the island.
We can pick you up in the airport to the apartment for 40€ and next to it you can also rent a car. Next to the apartment you can take a bus (Autobuses Global) that take you anywhere in the island.

This small duplex is located right on the beach, it is quiet and safe and though very small it is comfortable. However although advertised as having English channels, it has only 2 news channels. The hot water was an issue in the bathroom as it lasted no more than 2 mins at any time of day or night. The owner said that included in the price was transfer to and from the airport, but this wasn't the case, on the last day we were told we would have to take a taxi, which she kindly booked , but we had to pay €40 for this, which wasn't an issue had we been told this to start with. The owner was on hand to deal with any issues, a faulty iron was replaced the next day and a technician to fix the faulty but still operable washing machine. What I would say I found strange were the number of personal items in the house! the wardrobes were fairly full and left little room for guests! toiletries took up a lot of space in the bathroom as did food stuffs in cupboards and fridge? I was put off by this I have to say, but this may not bother some. We were welcomed with two bottles of wine, and a fruit basket. We did not partake of either but it was a nice idea. In the bedroom the sliding window only opened a few inches for safety reasons I suppose. This is a basic comfortable and clean let, apart from the ants who were all over the kitchen surfaces, but again this is to be expected in gran canaria. However for the €650 per week we paid I feel it was expensive for what we got. We have stayed all over the islands, in duplex, hotels and private villas, with much superior accommodation for similar prices. The owner doesn't speak English which is difficult. However she is a nice lady and does her best for you. This property would suit a mature couple looking for basic accommodation, there is little to do in the immediate area, lots of designer shops way overpriced, a nice light house, and good restaurants. There is only one pub nearby, and little or no night life, but that didn't bother us too much. Overall the stay was ok, but if would recommend the owner looks into the hot water issue, clears the personal items prior to guests arrival and lowers the rent a little. However, the property is adequate, in an excellent location and quite private. The garden gets no sun so one must head for the beach to avail of this, but this must be a nice shelter in the summer months. For anyone with children, really there isn't room, which is a shame as the area would suit younger families. Colin and Myra, couple aged 50.

The apartment has the free satellite international channels in english. The hot water issue is solved increasing the heater power, the heater is new, was bought less than three months ago. Just as we replaced the iron next day or the water machine issue, you could have sent an email or sms explaining the hot water issue to solve the problem in 2 minutes. :)
We say in the information that we can pick up at the airport if is needed, but not from the apartment to the airport.
About the wardrobes, you can find clean towels, bedding etc, i mean, the usual that you can find and need in a house, and the hosts have a complete wardrobe and drawers to put their luggage. :)
Normally we put some food in the fridge for the people who come in the evening with little time to shop, and feel your best, it would be easy for us to leave nothing. :)
The bedroom sliding window has a security tab, just have to remove it and the sliding window is full open.
As you said, we leave two bottles of wine and a fruit basket to welcome but if you don't touch the fruit, ants does it for you.. As we are in a hot area you have to be awere of what is outside the fridge. :)
About the price, you are paying for a complete, clean, calm and private apartment with two private parking places in hard parking zone in a luxury area in front of the best beach of Gran Canaria. Maybe there are villas or other apartments, but a lot of them away of beach or front the sea in the rocks zone and need a car or bus to get to the sand beach.
