Although the complex is called the "VistaFlor Bungalows" we have a one bedroom two story town house with a bedroom and a balcony upstairs and a lounge and kitchen downstairs. Air conditioning is available and the lounge has a (pay) television and safety deposit box.
On site is a reception, bar and restaurant, laundry room, reading room, internet access room and a child's play area. The beach is not far away and can be accessed by the resorts bus which runs about 4 times a day. This is a popular complex and we have many returning clients.

The Gran Canaria region

Las Palmas is the capital and nearby is the sand dunes of Maspolomas. This has always been a popular destination. The shops is Las Palmas are popular and here you will find some fairly large "malls". Go inland to see the rugged terrain maybe on a 4x4 excursion.

Further details indoors: The apartment is two storey and is clean and comfortable. The sofa bed is fairly small so the one bedroom apartment is only suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children. Maid service is included.
Further details outdoors: The pool is in the centre of the complex surrounded by the bungalows. Overall a clean and comfortable budget complex.

"We have just come back from a 1 week stay at the Vista Flor Bungalow / apartments in Maspalomas and were very pleasantly surprised. It was was very clean. It was a little basic but exactly what you pay for with maid service 5 days a week providing fresh towels, cleaning the apartment etc. The apartment complex itself was very clean with people out every morning cleaning the pool/bar/paths etc. No rubbish around and very friendly staff.
The restaurant had lovely food, very fast and efficient and catered for children. There is also a small play ground for children.
There were a lot of older couples and a few families with small children and there was entertainment on every night at 10pm (magician, dancers, drag artist..some of which were a bit dated and not always to our taste but its there if you want it and its free.)
There is a small minimarket on site and other larger supermarkets and complexes within 5-10 mins walking. The beach is a good 45 mins walk, but very flat and suitable for prams and children etc.
On the down side as there are a lot of apartments in this complex so I imagine in summer it would be fairly busy, and therefore a little noisy .
The beach at Maspalomas is nice, but a little windy, the sand dunes are magnificent .. Maspalomas as a resort is less than 5 mins in a taxi and costs approx 3.50 - 4 Euros and taxis are everywhere so you don't need to worry about standing around waiting for one, they are very frequent. We also went to the next door resort of Playa Del Ingles which in my opinion is a little like Benidorm, with quite a few larger hotels, however the beach is very nice with large waves, ideal for body boarding.
I definitely would go back to Vista Flor Bungalows as it was very reasonably priced, staff were very friendly and helpful and its was exceptionally clean." -Miss McM Feb 08
