The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
El Pinaret is within easy reach of the bustling and cosmopolitan cities of Reus, Tarragona and Barcelona (great shopping). Beach resorts: Cambrils has grown from a picturesque fishing village and marina to a popular and up-market resort. Salou is perhaps the best known resort on the Costa with a large selection of bars, restaurants and clubs tailored to every member of the family. The Roman city of Tarragona also has extensive historical interest (with it's own amphitheatre). Barcelona, the capital of Catalunya, home of Gaudi, is highly recommended a visit.
Masies Catalanes area
Selva del Camp is close by for groceries, wonderful bread and pastries - alternatively head into Reus which is great for shopping - be it designer clothes or hypermarket Carrefour bargains.
Beautiful walking routes - the valleys of El Micanyo and El Glorieta. Churches and Castles - Cava vinyards.
How to get there
By Air: The nearest airport is Reus which is only 15 minutes away by car. It has daily Ryanair flights from Luton, Stansted and Liverpool. During the summer there are also various charter flights available. Ryanair also fly to Girona (north of Barcelona).
Barcelona airport is also an option, just an hour away by car or train.
By Train: There is a direct train service from Barcelona to Reus.
