One Button Hideaway is exactly that- a peaceful, remote hideaway, perfect for escaping the 'real world'. It is incredibly quiet and private. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and he had even put the heating on in preparation for our arrival so it was nice and warm. It was nice to know that if we needed anything, we could contact the owner any time right next door but at the same time, it still felt really private and secluded. The hideaway was spotlessly clean and had lots of little cosy touches making it feel really inviting. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was kitted out with all the things we needed during our stay. Close to lots of interesting places and the owner provided us with a large folder of nearby attractions and suggestions for things to do. An ideal relaxation spot. Excellent value. Will definitely go again. |

It is very difficult to find self-catering accomodation for couples, therefore to discover this property on the internet was too good to be true. From arriving at a very tranquil part of the Yorkshire Dales and being greeted by Rod, we knew instanly that our stay was going to be pleasurable and relaxed. The standard of accomodation is excellent and meets a very high standard of cleanliness and facilities. We knew the area from a previous stay therefore to be able to access Nidderdale, Swaledale and Wensleydale and enjoy walking and returning to some of our favourite towns, such as Masham and Leyburn were inevitable. One Button Hideaway is ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and you are in a perfect position to enjoy some wonderful, local produce at the local Inn or 2 Miles at the Castle Arms, a very warm welcome awaits you with a menu to suit any budget. |
