Trulli il Castagno is a small structure in the heart of the Valle d'Itria for a great and relaxing vacantion in the nature. The villa consists of four trullo houses completely independent among them, with own private shadow areas and great shared outdoor zone with garden, barbecue, gazebo, the wood oven, washing machine, the farmyard and the large swimming pool (7*13 m). Each trullo hause has an entrance, a living room, a kitchenette, one or two bedroom, a bathroom with shower and an independent courtyard. Our beautiful outdoor swimming pool, under the cherry trees,is available from 15th May to 30th September . We also have Eco-Friendly facilities like thermic solar heating panels for clean water and for collecting of rain water from the white and very typical trullo stone, "chianche"

Martina Franca area
Martina Franca is in Valle d’Itria which is renowned for its natural beauty, its olive trees, stone castles and fortresses. Beaches are sandy with natural dunes and are often located in natural reserves. The region is full of history with remains of ancient civilizations, traditional stone houses, and the splendid trulli built with ancient stone techniques.

The property is within easy reach of the village Martina Franca, with its white baroque palaces, and is the most important city of Itria, the economic and cultural centre and moreover famous for the liric festival of the Itria Valley.
Alberobello is Trulli capital and UNESCO patrimony for its old city with more of 1000 trulli. It is a missed town that you to visit in Puglia.
The lovely villages of Locorotondo and Cisternino both rank within the one hundred famous beautiful towns of Italy and respectied for its D.O.C. ` Locorotondo' wine, and for the grilled meats that you can enjoy in the splendid trattorias.
Castellana Grotte, an unforgettable spot for tourists in Puglia, guards the most beautiful coves of Castellana.
Fasano, Torre Canne and Savelletri are near to the sea, with tourist attractions and archaeological sites galore.

Moreover, there are wine tasting events all year round in fantastic locations: "Bacco nelle Gnostre" and " Calici di Stelle" in Noci, " Rassegna dei Vini Bianchi di Puglia" and " Festivity of the Novello" in Locorotondo, and the gatherings " Cantine Aperte” , " Vendemmia welcome"; and Wine& Land in Savelletri di Fasano.
The Puglia is also synonymous witjh Extra Virgin olive oil with its unique taste and the olive trees that are art works of nature.
From 20 September, Trulli il Castagno organizes "Days in Vendemmia" in order remember the traditional grape harvest of our own wine producing company and to spend a day in the country to see the day-to-day life of Puglia. What's more, it will be celebrated with a communal lunch including wine-tasting, as is the tradition. You will also be able to enjoy a splendid stay in the trulli with the pleasure of the swimming pool and the barbecue.

Each ones with everything you need for your holiday: a kitchen with all facilities like plates, pots, a coffee machine; living room with television, table with six seats, a collection of English books, the bedrooms (these are one or two per trullo) with a wardrobes and the bathroom with a large shower; also in two of four trulli house of the structure you have a beautiful fireplace that gives a unique atmosphere.
