Location is everything at this recently refurbished one bedroom flat in Marston with the City Centre just minutes away and peaceful countryside and the River Cherwell nearby.

A path from Edgeway Road leads directly into South Parks Road allowing excellent access to the City Centre (15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride), as well as the Science area of Oxford University. Oxford High Street is just 15 minutes away and Oxford Brookes University, the John Radcliffe and other hospitals are also nearby.

A 10 minute walk in the other direction from the flat takes you via Marston Road to St Clements, Magdalen Bridge and Oxford City centre beyond. Along this route and nearby Cowley Road there are a good selection of restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars to suit most tastes.

If walking or cycling doesn't appeal, there is a bus stop at the end of Edgeway Road and off street parking at the flat with the Oxford Ring Road is just 5 minutes away.

The flat itself has been recently refurbished to a high standard to provide designer-style living with the emphasis on comfort. There is of course broadband internet access, over a hundred channels on the flat screen TV with integrated DVD player, an IPod docking station with alarm clock radio, and a telephone.

The apartment has been decorated throughout with very stylish brand new furniture, prints and many decorative touches give a welcoming feel to it. The bright living room is very relaxing and really makes you feel at home. Large double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and two chest of drawers.

Oxford city is deservedly famous for its history, its ancient university and its architectural beauty. It is also a modern city with an outstanding range of cultural activities and entertainment, and, not least, a thriving academic and business centre.

The city centre area contains most of the city’s oldest buildings and many historical attractions, as well as the main shopping and entertainment centres. To the surprise of many visitors, the university is not located in one place: because of its historical development the various colleges and departments are spread over a large area, mainly in central and north Oxford. The many science and business parks lie outside the city, generally to the south.


Marston is a great location if you want to be close to all that Oxford has to offer, (it's just a 10 - 15 minute walk away), but in a quiet location with stunning countryside and the River Cherwell right on your doorstep.

There is so much to do in Oxford. Many bars, restaurants and theatres. Also there are plenty of activities and sports that you can close by such as Golf, Tennis etc..

"Excellant accomodations, nice quite get away, but within 20 minute walk of everything!"

The flat was 15 minutes walking distances to everything in Oxford. It is in a very quite neighborhood that gives you a nice relaxing place to stay. The walk to town is through a field and well lite at all times. Beautiful fields of buttercups, old bridges, you across the Cherwell River. Very nice and safe. The flat was well equipped with everything you can think of to make you feel at home. From WiFi to an iron. Just loved the place. PS Lovely large bath tub to soak your feet in after a days touring.
