Between land & sea, at the entrance of the small port of Marseillan, Port Rive Gauche invites you to discover the hidden treasures of the “Bassin de Thau”, sailing, fishing, walking and gourmet restaurants. This is a Garrigae resort. The residence is a little building of 3 floors with the reception and the parking on the ground floor and a little Laundromat.

These luxurious apartments are truly something special – furnished very tastefully to an extremely high standard, equipped with everything you need to really relax.
Each apartment has spectacular views directly over the Lagoon and there are a good choice of restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away.
There are 2 apartment buildings, with 6 apartments on each. There are 3 floors in total, and a lift is available as well as stairs of course.
The apartments all have video-entry, phone, ipod, docking station, TV, DVD (DVDs available for hire from the Reception).
With white leather sofas, beautiful wooden furniture, gorgeous wood floors and comfortable terrace furniture to enjoy those spectacular views, you will feel totally spoiled!
The kitchen area has a fridge (stocked as a mini bar if you wish), dishwasher, oven 3 hobs, sink, toaster, kettle and plenty of crockery and cutlery.
The lounge area has comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs and doors onto the terrace.
The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and some of them have doors onto the terrace.
Bathrooms have bath, basin, hand held shower and WC.
The first and second floor apartments have covered terraces with table and chairs and the third floor apartments with open terraces also have comfortable armchairs and a parasol.
The building has a Reception (open 9am-12am and 4pm-8pm) so if you have any questions during your stay they will be pleased to help you.
Flexibility is key here and you can arrive on whatever day you choose and stay as many or few nights as you wish. For late arrivals, you can collect the key from a secure box on the outside of the building.
There is a garage for 5 or 6 cars, but there is free parking around the area if you prefer.

Traces of Roman rule and even older vestiges of human life whisper to us that the history of Marseillan goes back very far.
Once a significant port for wine trade, Marseillan today is a relatively undiscovered, lovely little fishing village and a vibrant stopover for yachtsmen from the open sea and Canal du Midi. At its heart, Garrigae has restored a 19th-century municipal wine warehouse, formerly used for storing the village wines. Port Rive Gauche invites its guest to live in perfect harmony with the secret Mediterranean.
BUDGET AIRLINES operate to Carcassonne, Perpignan, Béziers, Montpellier all within approx 1 hour drive.
The Cap D'Agde is a 15 minute drive away, and the border of Spain is only an hour and a half away.
The Marseillan area

50 meters from the port where there are lot of restaurants and the village. The beach is 6 km away or they are some little places around the Etang where you can sunbathe and swim.
Today, Marseillan's harbour is reserved for leisure sailors, offering more than 300 moorings year-round. 200 meters away is Marseillan Village, famous for its Venetian-style covered daily market selling fresh fish, meats and vegetables, as well as a host of breads, pastry and delicatessen. Discover its small bars, restaurants, craft boutiques, Antiques, etc...
Explore romantic vineyards, art galleries and ancient abbeys. Visit Cathar castles and the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc. Go sailing or wine-tasting… The reception of Port Rive Gauche organises and reserves for you many tours and excursions.
In Marseillan, but also in Sète, Bouzigues ou Mèze, you can attend historical, highly competitive tournaments between teams of fishermen.
History, art and culture fans will be enchanted by the region's rich heritage: Cathar castles, historical sites and abbeys like the Cistercian abbey of Valmagne in Villeveyrac with its garden and vineyard, or the abbeys of Fontfroide and Lagrasse.
