Designed on 3 separate levels offering a contemporary yet Arabic feel, you can relax in this palatial yet practical environment. Local Saturday market within a 2 minute drive to the village, and many restaurants are located nearby.

The Marrakech region

Morocco is blessed with beautiful all year round weather, but is generally hotter during July and August.

The city centre is a 20 minute drive from the villa down one straight road. There you will find the old-town and the Medina with its Souks and the magical Djemaa el Fna square, which owes little of its fame to its own beauty. During most days, performers of every kind put up their shows, continuing until the food stalls start to move in. From the Jemaa there are several entries to the fantastic Souks, and for anyone who needs to relax for a while, there are plenty of cafés around the Jemaa, where you can just sit and observe.

Jemaa el-Fna owes most of its fame to the sheer number of spectacles going on all around all of the time. The food stalls take over the Jemaa as soon as the orange juice sellers have packed up and gone home. The food is freshly prepared on the spot right in front of you. You can choose between a variety of fish, meat or vegetable dishes. Alternatively there many, more active attractions, such as quad biking, lakes, cookery, or horseback riding.

Marrakech City area

Nearby at the Dutch owned Metro, you can buy all of your supermarket provisions, including wine and beer, locally caught seafood and fresh bread and produce. There is also a village nearby if you needed a pharmacy.

There is also a Water Park (30 mins) nearby with water slides, wave machines and Pirate ships for kids. Great fun for all the family, with restaurants and many other facilities. Crystal clear lakes for swimming, jet ski hire, water skiing and peddle boats. are also just 30 mins from villa as are lush gardens and many restaurants. La Plage Rouge water centre, with its own 'beach' and massive wave making pool, makes you feel like you're at the beach.

If you want to ski in Africa from December to April, then take a day trip to Oukaimden. Oukaimeden lies just south of Marrakech in the High Atlas Mountains. To get to the ski resort, you drive through the Ourika valley which spreads between the first foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Despite it being so close to Marrakech, this beautiful lush green valley is definitely one of the best preserved valleys in Morocco.

Oukaimeden is an easy day trip and will cost you about €40 to get to by taxi. Enjoy good downhill skiing with Ski hire and full lift facilities. The resort is a 1 hour drive from the villa through breathtaking mountain scenery, passing through many mountain villages selling all manner of trinkets and crafts. It is possible to set off in the morning, ski all day and have a typical Moroccan lunch at one of the mountain top restaurants and be back at the villa for sun-bathing poolside, looking back at the panoramic views of the mountains you have been skiing down.

How to get there

Easyjet from Gatwick, Ryan Air from Luton, Royal Air Maroc from Heathrow, gets you there, all the major Car Hire companies at newly opened Menara Airport.

A fully equipped and modern kitchen ideally suited to cater for large groups which opens out onto an outside, yet covered courtyard with dining table. This garden level also has the Games Room with its full size pool table, bar with chiller fridge, plasma screen which is also connected to satellite TV. There is also an original jukebox full of great records and large traditional Moroccan seating area. Club lighting that changes colour or chilled lighting if preferred. Reception has large plasma and seating for 20 around traditional fireplace.

Detached villa with lush gardens all around. Secluded with walls and mature olive trees that block out any onlookers, for private sun bathing and family time. Property has a gated entry with private security available 24/7.

With Magnificent bronzed fountains, pagoda to the rear terrace with white curtains hanging, to give both sun protection in the heat of the day and an authentic Arabian feel, that continues with the typical Moroccan lighting throughout the fountains, pool and terraces.

Further details

Driver available for Airport pick-ups, who will also show you around the villa and introduce you the housekeeper and security/guardian. He is English spoken, very charming and can arrange any further catering, excursion, taxi requirements, which are all additional.

Also included is a 24 hour security guard, pool cleaner and gardener who discreetly keeps the villa in top condition. The pool is cleaned daily and the garden and fountains are maintained throughout your stay.

We can accommodate specific Moroccan folklore evenings, where external caterers come and cook for you on a traditional Moroccan BBQ. You may also have performances from a Moroccan musical band, belly dancing and we can arrange for camel rides in the villa grounds to make for a special Moroccan evening experience, watching the sun go down, in clear view of the snowcapped mountains. Hammam experience with local lady etc.
We have a lot of experience in entertaining and can arrange most things in advance.

Conditions

Refundable breakages deposit required 1000euro, refunded 1 week after departure. Holding deposit required when booking of 50%. Remainder of rental required 1 month prior to booking date.

Pets are welcome.

Smoking is allowed with consideration.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.

When you first make the booking, we accept 50% deposit, made by bank transfer, and the balance is due a month before you arrive. If you are booking at short notice then we can make a specific arrangement with you.

Cleaning of the villa is included in the price, however the maid service of individual washing and cleaning is an added extra of 40 euros per week, for maid service including washing, ironing and breakfast, this is 50 euros a week. If you request meals and specific evenings, then these will be charged locally in MAD dirhams and different events/experiences cost different prices.

POA. A breakage/damages refundable deposit of £1000 is required BUT IS FULLY REFUNDABLE. Return airport transfers can be arranged Services of maid/cook/driver can be arranged. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner available on request . 24 hrs notice required
