This newly built apartment is situated in a smart area of the Gueliz, the 'new town' of the French colonial era, with its street cafes and modern shops. Near the main arterial route Mohammed V, it is a short walk or very economic taxi ride to the old walled city or Medina with Morocco's largest souk, a shopper's paradise, and Place Djemaar El Fna, a lively square full of snake charmers, henna tattoo artists and food vendors.
Nearby are the El Harti gardens, a food and flower market, and other useful facilities such as a launderette, tourist information and car hire. Also hotels where for a modest fee you can make use of their swimming pool.

The Marrakech region
The climate of the Marrakech region varies from extremely hot in the summer (30-40s) when you'll want to spend most of your time by the pool, to warm days (20s) and cold nights in the winter. Spring and early Autumn have ideal temperatures in the mid 20s.
Marrakech is irrigated from the abundant water in the Atlas Mountains, which are covered in snow during the winter. The mountains form a backdrop to the city and are only an hour's drive away. The hiker can choose between the beautiful Ureka Valley with its fast flowing river and three waterfalls or the more challenging Mt Toubkal, or other destinations - and beyond, the drama of the Sahara.
Marrakech City / Gueliz area
The easy ambience of the 'new town' with it's cafe lifestyle contrasts with the bustling Souk with its warren of market stalls - a shopper's paradise where bargaining is honed to a fine art. The Place Djemaar El Fna is a lively arena of snake charmers, henna tattoo artists, and musicians. There is a wide range of food on offer to meet all pockets but generally at bargain prices and you should try the local 'tagine' stews.
The museums and old palaces are a revelation to anyone unfamiliar with Islamic art and architecture. A Hamman (moroccan bath) in the setting of an old riad or courtyard house is also a must experience.

Further details indoors: The apartment is serviced by a lift. There is a concierge and a maid cleans and changes the bed linen once a week. A balcony looks out onto neighbouring gardens. The marble floors, accented use of red oxide and the Moroccan rugs, artifacts and textiles on the walls give it a traditional flavour. The corner seating in the salon is also Moroccan in style. You will be provided with breakfast food and a welcome pack and the kitchen is equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, kettle, crockery and cutlery.

You will be provided with breakfast food and a welcome pack on arrival. Our local agent who speaks French and English will collect you from the airport and be available to answer any queries. The rental is all-inclusive; there are no additional expenses, except for the maid's tip which would be expected.
Conditions
A non-refundable deposit of 10% will secure the booking, the balance to be paid eight weeks before the booking date. There is also a £100 deposit for breakages or damage, to be repaid after the apartment has been inspected and the keys returned. Minimum stay 1 week. Please make your booking at least 2 weeks prior to occupancy.
Smoking is only permitted on the balcony.
Young children are permitted, but only under the strict supervision of parents who should be aware of the inherent danger of the balcony.
