“VILLA OLIVES ” is your ideal holiday in Marrakech for people looking for a tranquil, relaxed place of their own.

The large villa is built in a modern Moroccan style. Our villa has got a large swimming pool (6x12 meter), which is nicely illuminated in the evening, and heated so you can swim the hole year..The large garden (4000m2) is covered with century old Olives trees, Orange trees, nice Palms trees and lots of fruit trees. Half the garden is covered by a wide grassfield and the large pool.

The Villa has got 5 spacious bedrooms all with their own private bathroom with hot&cold running water, toilet and shower. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and 3 with twin single beds.

Villa olives is situated only 15minutes from the airport of Marrakech and only 20 minutes of the very well-known Royal Golf, Amelkis Golf and Palmeraie Golf, and 15 minutes of Medina with the Jamaalna Place and 10 min of quiliz, the new centre of Marrakech.

Villa olives is extremely suitable for a golf vacation, family holidays, holidays with a club of friends or colleagues, up to 10 people.

Ground floor: 2 large Moroccan living rooms to relax, watch tv, listen to music. A living room where you can eat and read quietly a newspaper. Then there is a Moroccan traditional living room, with satellite tv, dvd player and airconditioning. A large Kitchen.Our villa hasgot wireless Internet.
1st floor: on the first floor of the villa, you find 5 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, provided with airco and a private balcony. Two bedrooms have a double bed and 3 bedrooms with twice a single bed. The bathrooms are provided with a shower or a bath. We have also a cot for little children

The villa has an entirely arranged kitchen provided with a refrigerator, freezer, combi-microwave, water cooker, forks, knives and spoons, cuttlery and casseroles.etc.

The bed linen and the towels are included in the price.

Further details outdoors:
The villa has a garden of 4000 m2 surrounded by century old olive and palm trees. On one side of the garden there’s the swimming pool surrounded by a lawn and palm trees. On the lawn there’s a large tent under which one can breakfast and dinner. The garden is provided with all the garden furniture and there’s a barbecue.
Our swimmingpool is heated to a nicely 28c!

The Marrakech City area

Marrakech is a fantastic city, it is also a symbol of Morocco. The streets of the old city of Marrakech have been too narrow to allow cars, and tourists searching for the "real" Morocco have turned the medieval structures of Marrakech into good business.

The number of tourists that come to Marrakech all the year have still not managed to change its character. Actually their high number contributes in a positive way to preserve one of the greatest monuments of Morocco. And the people of Marrakech love their city even more. The most worthwhile tourist areas in Marrakech are inside a very small area, starting in the north with, continuing through the town square of Jamaâ El Fna with its crowd of storytellers, musicians and the beautiful Koutoubia Mosque which is visible from practically anywhere in Marrakech.

Going beyond this, the Menara Gardens is considered as the most romantic place in town and don't forget to visit one of the many examples of sights left by the many Europeans and Americans who fell so much in love with Marrakech that they established their Riads and guest houses here.

Located just five minutes drive outside the centre of town (gueliz) in an exclusive suburb. There are several shops located closeby: a bakery, drugstore (pharmacy), bank with ATM and a small supermarket are at walking distance. A busstop is located on front of the villa, with a regular busservice to the centre of Marrakech.

De villa is super. Ruime kamers met elk een eigen badkamer. De tuin is lekker ruim en de locatie is perfect. Kwartiertje van het centrum. Prima te doen met een huurauto. De eigenaars zijn vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Ze hebben drie keer heerlijk voor ons gekookt. En een keer op ons zoontje gepast, zodat wij 's avonds met de familie uit konden eten. De week was zo voorbij. Het weer was prima, het water van het zwembad was nog iets te koud. We waren vroeg in het seizoen waardoor het water nog niet opgewarmd was. Jammer, maar na een ochtendje heerlijk zonnen, was de verkoeling ook wel weer prettig. Wij hebben ons prima vermaakt, willen de eigenaren nog bedanken omdat zij ons verblijf aangenaam hebben gemaakt en wie weet komen we nog een keertje terug.

21-1-2009 Wij hebben met een stel vrienden in deze villa gelogeerd. Erg vriendelijk behulpzame nederlands sprekende eigenaars. Heerlijke taditionale marokkaanse gerechten gegeten.Slecht 10 minuten van het centrum van Marrakech maar toch heerlijk rustig.
Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad in deze villa.
De villa is in het echt nog mooier dan op de foto's.

7-3-2010 Het huis is heel erg mooi, groot en heeft een Marokkaanse inrichting. Daarnaast een heerlijke grote tuin met groot (verwarmd) zwembad.
De slaapkamers worden iedere dag schoongemaakt en opgeruimd en hebben allemaal een eigen badkamer en wc.
De eigenaar woont in een deel van het huis en is erg vriendelijk.
Het mooie centrum van Marrakech is per bus (stopt bijna voor het huis) of per taxi te bereiken.
Aanrader voor een dag weg zijn de Ouzoud watervallen
4-6-2010 Prachtig gelegen plekje! Mooi ingericht, en met fantastische slaapkamers voor iedereen.
Ook erg handig dat de bus voor t huis stopt, want 't openbaar vervoer daar is ook een attractie

Een sprookje uit 1001 nacht! familie_Verlinden
8-5-2010 Wij hebben deze sprookjesachtig mooie villa met zwembad een week gehuurd voor onze familie. De eigenaars (een Nederlands/Marokkaans echtpaar) zijn zeer gastvrij en doen er alles aan om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Heerlijke ontbijten met o.a. verse jus d'orange en crepes. 's Avonds koken Froukje en Mohamed de sterren van de hemel, je krijgt dan een 3-gangen menu met Marokkaanse gerechten met een verfijnde Nederlands/Franse twist. Verder hebben zij ook uitstapjes, vervoer en een muziekavond voor ons geregeld. Wat prettig dat alle communicatie, zowel vooraf als ter plekke gewoon in het Nederlands kan! Wij hebben ons zeer verwend gevoeld, dit was een geweldige vakantie!

4-6-2010 Villa Olives is een prachtig plekje om te verblijven, alles wat je nodig hebt op een vakantie kun je hier vinden. Openbaar vervoer stopt voor de deur, een heerlijk zwembad en vooral de gastvrijheid van de eigenaren!

We hebben een geweldige week gehad bij Froukje en Mahmet in Villa d' Olives in Marrakech. Na de drukte van de stad kom je in een oase van rust en ruimte voorzien van alle gemakken, prima keuken, heerlijk zwembad, mooie tuin.
De kleurrijke verhalen en meningen van Mahmet en de Friese nuchterheid van Froukje zorgen voor een prima aanvulling op de reisgids en dat allemaal in het Nederlands. Kortom een uitstekende plek om met een groep volwassenen Marrekech te ontdekken (zeer vermoeiend, maar wel heel bijzonder) en daarna weer op adem te komen.
