Marrakech is an exciting , wonderful place to explore, with friendly and accommodating people there is lots to explore including the High Atlas Mountains, beautiful Casbas, ski trips, lovely gardens, waterfalls, famous Souks filled with lovely herbs and spices, Berber carpets, leather goods etc.
Marrakech comes to life at night in the famous Djemaa El Fna square with lots of entertainment, fine food and BBQs.

The Marrakech region
There are many activities and things to explore in the Marrakech region.
Travel to the wonderful Ourika valley 18 miles south of Marrakech, with its lush olive groves, vineyards, and cherry trees or try jet-skiing at Lake LaLa Takrkouste.
As well as the unspoilt beauty of this splendid valley visitors can also visit the bio-aromatic gardens of Ourika, or even the striking gardens of Timalizene between the first foothills of the Atlas Mountains, whose architecture is designed by Rémi Aubrée. The Atlas Mountains is the biggest mountain range in North Africa with impressive views and activities such as mountain biking, hiking trails, and mountain photography.

Marrakech is an exciting place waiting to be explored, filled with restaurants, nightlife, souks, medinas, and casbas. With hot summers and cool winters, where you can visit the high Atlas mountains, the assoura oasis, or the fantastic Yve st laraunt gardens. Skiing , horse riding and much more.

The local area contains many tourist attractions including restaurants, bars, Hammums (Turkish bath) and Souks (market area selling herbs, spices souvenirs etc.) Transport is also very easy and cheap via Petite taxis
The weather in Marrakech is mainly dry and hot.

Fly to Menara airport (Marrakech airport). Apartment 15 mins from airport.
Cheap flights available from Easy jet, Atlas Blue, Royal Air Maroc, Thomson Fly flying from Gatwick, Heathrow, and Manchester
Taxi fare from airport to the apartment should be 100 dirhams (Grand Taxis).
Local Taxis (petite taxis) are very cheap and cost 10-30 dirhams locally (always ask the driver to activate the meter as it is cheaper).

Just a quick email to say the flat was brilliant. The people in Morocco were wonderful, especially Mohammed and Yousef, and we appreciated how clean and spacious the flat was.

We had a great time thanks. The apartment really suited our needs - it was nice and quiet - just want you need from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. We will want to use it again as a long weekend trip if that is possible. We wanted to buy so much. Fabrics etc. Next time we will take an empty suitcase!

The apartment was brilliant. Very spacious and cheap to get to from the airport (no more than 100 dirhams) Close to the centre too, again a cheap taxi should get you there. Nice BIG supermarket nearby for all the essentials too, and Macdonalds! ;) The flat is spacious, very clean and both Mohammed (who works at the flats) and Yusuf (who helped us around Morocco) were very very genuine and friendly people (which is exactly what you need when your not on home territory) The lounge area was comfortable, bathroom was fine and kitchen balcony was nice.

Good morning Yunus,
Would like to thank you for the wonderful stay in your apartment in Marrakech January 2008, special thanks to Mohamed for all the help, he is so very kind and helpful anything is no trouble for him. The apartment is lovely home form home clean and very comfortable we had a wonderful stay there, hope to be back in July for 2 weeks. The cafe below the apartment is very good, nice warm friendly people and wonderful coffee!! There is also a little takeaway across the road form the apartment, I highly recommend it the food is delicious. Once again Younus thanks so much for our wonderful stay in Marrakech .
