About the home

Whether you are going to stay in Marrakesh for a long holiday, a short break or for business, there is nothing better than the apartment proposed by Marrakech Rental. In order to ensure that our clients feel at home, our efficient staff will retain attentiveness, discretion, hospitality and high quality services.

Situated right in the heart of the GUELIZ area, in a quiet street, this apartment benefits from an exceptional position, making it an ideal starting point to visit the city. The famous square, Djemaa El Fna, is only a 10-15 minutes from the apartment, and you can find nearby amenities such as banks, restaurants, cinema or tourist office. It is situated in a new, luxurious residence with a lift, an entry phone and a guard. It is fully furnished and equipped: linen, bathroom linen, crockery and kitchenware. The equipment also includes a satellite TV with more than 300 channels as well as a reversible air conditioning in all rooms.

We wish give to our guests what it miss frequently while travelling, namely :

Morocco’s most vibrant city, full of myths and mystery, ochre-coloured Marrakesh is today an anachronism: one of the most exciting and romantic places you will ever visit, with one foot in the present and one firmly in the past. It was once an oasis on the ancient caravan routes to the south, thus becoming a natural centre of commerce and consequently, during medieval times, Morocco’s capital. Vast wealth poured in from nearby Moorish Spain and skilled artisans built the city you see today. Surrounded by almost intact medieval ramparts, it has some amazing buildings. Dominating the traditional low-rise skyline is the amazing Koutoubia Minoret, over 200 feet high, visible for miles around and a classic example of Moorish architecture. Then there are the Saadian Tombs, the intricately decorated final resting place of the descendants of Mohammed, plus the Royal Palace and a host of other things to experience. The city’s maze of tiny streets is interspaced by tranquil gardens watered for centuries by an ingenious underground water system, still functioning after all these years. At the centre of it all though is the Djemma el Fnaa, a huge square and site of one of the world’s greatest spectacles. Here, especially atmospheric at dusk, street restaurants serve all kinds of delicacies with mouth-watering aromas filling the air, surrounded by what can only be described as a medieval circus. Storytellers recount tales of old, whilst fire-eaters and skilled acrobats entertain the crowds. Scribes write letters, whilst open-air dentists and barbers are busy at work. You can have your shoes cleaned, watch snake charmers and see herbalists dispensing ancient remedies. Permeating the whole scene is the heavy drumbeat of musical troupes playing their instruments, the sights and sounds of which are enchanting. The balmy warmth of the Moroccan evening adds to the atmosphere and all this under an ocean of stars: what a fabulous experience!
Moroccans themselves display legendary hospitality: culturally bound to offer help to visitors, they are extremely friendly, generous and open. One of the great delights when visiting Morocco is its cuisine. It is a veritable food-lovers’ paradise. If you want to get a real feel for the authentic cuisine, our traditional Moroccan cook may prepare succulents breakfasts and dinners (on order).

The Marrakech City / Gueliz area

Our apartment is situated in the golden triangle of the city, in the heart of Guéliz area. Close to the famous ‘Djemaa El Fna Square’ (about 10 minutes walk) and close shopping and other amenities : Coffee shops and Restaurants, Banks, Markets, Tourist Office, Night Clubs, Luxury stores, Cinemas.....etc. You will discover the "Life of Marrakech" within 100 meters from your apartment.

Gueliz is the européan quarter of Marrakech and the heart of the city. The accommodation is private but is still in the centre of the liveliness of Marrakech (trendy restaurants, bars, pubs, banks, shops with luxury items...)

There are many restaurants that offer good food at reasonable prices and "Jamila" the governess prepares very good typical meals and cheaper.
