Our jewel-toned, air-conditioned apartment sleeps up to four guests in one bed and two daybeds, and is cloaked in the rich and romantic purples, reds and indigos that define Moroccan décor.
Many of our guests tell us this apartment occupies the perfect space in Gueliz Marrakech: the city center is just outside, but we're located on a quiet street behind Mohammed V Avenue, where the city's noise doesn't reach.
Also included in the price of your booking is access to a secure, exclusive swimming pool just 50 meters away from the apartment, kept a secret by groves of palm trees, orange trees, and flowering bougainvillea. (A pool this sparkling, sunny, and well-kept is a rarity in the city center!) Take an afternoon dip and stretch out on a lounge chair for a nap in the sun—even the beach towels are included! Then, put on some sharp clothes for evening and head out with your significant other for an intimate dinner at a nearby restaurant, a coffee at a local café, and a stroll through the lush gardens of Harti and Majorelle.
When you return home for the night and sink into the sumptuous French-sized bed, draped in a royal red bedspread and lit by elegant luminaries, the bustle of the city will feel very, very far away.
If you'd rather stay in for dinner, Atika, our housekeeper and cook, will prepare an authentic Moroccan meal for you right in the apartment's sleek, eat-in kitchen (for an additional charge). Take a seat at the traditional, 4-person dining table and enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation. Or, shop for fresh produce at the central market and prepare your own meal in the fully-stocked, American-style kitchen.
When you're done cooking, enjoy your meal outside on the walk-out terrace with garden table and chairs.
And of course, the lively and ever-changing Jemaa el Fna square—which will enchant you with its food booths, snake charmers, monkey trainers, storytellers, and other artists—is just 10 minutes away.
Our first priority is making sure our guests enjoy vibrant Marrakech as much as we do, and experience it as locals would. That's why we offer reasonable rates and a wealth of extras to give you a trip to remember for a lifetime.
Please call us today to book your Moroccan holiday! You won't regret it!

The Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz Region
Morocco’s most vibrant city, full of myths and mystery, ochre-coloured Marrakesh is today an anachronism: one of the most exciting and romantic places you will ever visit, with one foot in the present and one firmly in the past. It was once an oasis on the ancient caravan routes to the south, thus becoming a natural centre of commerce and consequently, during medieval times, Morocco’s capital. Vast wealth poured in from nearby Moorish Spain and skilled artisans built the city you see today. Surrounded by almost intact medieval ramparts, it has some amazing buildings. Dominating the traditional low-rise skyline is the amazing Koutoubia Minoret, over 200 feet high, visible for miles around and a classic example of Moorish architecture. Then there are the Saadian Tombs, the intricately decorated final resting place of the descendants of Mohammed, plus the Royal Palace and a host of other things to experience. The city’s maze of tiny streets is interspaced by tranquil gardens watered for centuries by an ingenious underground water system, still functioning after all these years. At the centre of it all though is the Djemma el Fnaa, a huge square and site of one of the world’s greatest spectacles. Here, especially atmospheric at dusk, street restaurants serve all kinds of delicacies with mouth-watering aromas filling the air, surrounded by what can only be described as a medieval circus. Storytellers recount tales of old, whilst fire-eaters and skilled acrobats entertain the crowds. Scribes write letters, whilst open-air dentists and barbers are busy at work. You can have your shoes cleaned, watch snake charmers and see herbalists dispensing ancient remedies. Permeating the whole scene is the heavy drumbeat of musical troupes playing their instruments, the sights and sounds of which are enchanting. The balmy warmth of the Moroccan evening adds to the atmosphere and all this under an ocean of stars: what a fabulous experience!
Moroccans themselves display legendary hospitality: culturally bound to offer help to visitors, they are extremely friendly, generous and open. One of the great delights when visiting Morocco is its cuisine. It is a veritable food-lovers’ paradise. If you want to get a real feel for the authentic cuisine, our traditional Moroccan cook may prepare succulents breakfasts and dinners (on order).
Our apartment is situated in the golden triangle of the city, in the heart of Guéliz area. Close to the famous ‘Djemaa El Fna Square’ (about 10 minutes walk) and close shopping and other amenities : Coffee shops and Restaurants, Banks, Markets, Tourist Office, Night Clubs, Luxury stores, Cinemas.....etc. You will discover the "Life of Marrakech" within 100 meters from your apartment.
Gueliz is the européan quarter of Marrakech and the heart of the city. The accommodation is private but is still in the centre of the liveliness of Marrakech (trendy restaurants, bars, pubs, banks, shops with luxury items...)

“Perfect”! What high praise. Thank you!
We love that you and your boyfriend were able to enjoy both the bars and restaurants that surround Naiade and the kitchen/dining room at the apartment itself. This balance is great for guests in search of a complete experience, and it's one of the features that sets our holiday rental apart from standard hotels.
Needless to say, we would love to have you stay with us at Naiade again! When the time comes for your return visit (soon, we hope), feel free to contact us with questions about new attractions and activities to enjoy.

We're very pleased to hear you enjoyed our apartment's location at the center of the city! It really is an ideal place to stay if you want to walk to the best parts of Marrakech—and travel to parts beyond via the train, as you mentioned. We highly recommend these romantic train excursions across Morocco for our guests!
Thank you for the lovely wine suggestion, as well. Though Moroccan wines are starting to receive more international attention, they are still an underappreciated pleasure. If you chose to return to Marrakech someday, we'd be happy to be your hosts once again—and we'll be sure to have a bottle of Kasbah rouge vin du Maroc waiting for you!

"Total freedom, privacy, and luxury- and support if you need it"

What an incredibly kind review. Thank you! Our favorite part is this: “The apartment…makes you feel as if you have stepped back into some kind of sultan dynastic time.” This authentic, magical feeling is just what we aim for at our apartments and we're very happy that feeling came through for you.
Also, we do offer in-home chef services for an extra cost, and it is very much worth it. Atika's lamb tagine is delicious, and it's wonderful to be able to eat a private dinner in a warm, comfortable setting without having to lift a finger.
You're correct that English is not my first language, but I'm steadily learning! We hope you will stay at one of our apartments again so you can sample Atika's cooking and I can show off my new language skills! :)

"We will never do business with the owner again"
1. The owners have made a basic mistake of marketing their properties to English speaking customers without being able to speak English themselves. The owners claim they can write English but there i… More
Thank you very much for your comments. However you have omitted certain facts which are essential to understand:
1. You stayed with us 8 nights from December 24th 2013 to January 1st 2014. You complained about the music twice on the evenings of Christmas and New Year's Day. The entire city of Marrakech was celebrating those days and like most large cities in the world there was some excitement and entertainment going on. We note that the other 6 nights, you made no enquiries. The local authorities had granted special exemptions for those evenings and the whole city was cheering. You have not accepted that Marrakech does not go to bed at the same time as you, and it seems difficult to ask the whole city to stop living on those days, just because you want to go to bed.
2. In fact, you called us at one o'clock in the night of New Year's Eve. Sorry, we were also celebrating the passage of the New Year; you reached us on our voicemail, the language you did not know is in fact French. Even if we do not respond orally in English because we are not used to speaking it, we have always responded in writing in English, as we do here. The apartment is connected to the Internet; it is easy to communicate via email or SMS, and we do this regularly.
3. You never called Aziz, our local manager. A detailed statement of his telephone line records demonstrates no call from you, from your own number, or from the fixed line in the apartment, or the apartment mobile phone. However, you called Mustapha, our driver, on the night of December 31st asking him to do stop the music in the street.
4. The establishment to which you refer is not at all a bar or a nightclub, but is actually a restaurant serving fish and shellfish specialties.
5. You complain of being stuck in the elevator for a few minutes and that you were helped out by someone who was not a technician.
We remind you that it happened at 21:00 on a holiday, the caretaker of the residence intervened to help you out. Would you rather be stuck in the elevator up until the technician arrived the following morning? The annual servicing of the lift was performed on January 7th 2014.
In conclusion, it seems necessary (even though it seems obvious to us) to clarify to future guests, that if you are staying in Marrakech, here or elsewhere, for Christmas Eve or New Year's Day, you will hear some nightlife. If you are really anti-noise, the best solution might be to opt for a rental in the Icelandic countryside. Unless you fear that a certain ' Santa' might wake you up at night by making a noise in the chimney!
Seriously, how else can we respond to a holidaymaker who complains about music on Christmas and New Years Eve??
