The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Set on the southeast coast of Turkey where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean, the beach resort of Icmeler has a distinctly European flavour, with luxury yachts bobbing in the bay and a cosmopolitan crowd of holidaymakers sipping cocktails at the sea-front bars.

Its package-holiday aura is, however, tempered by its scenic setting, with steep hills clad in pine forests plunging into the turquoise waters all around the town. Icmeler has a relaxed village atmosphere and is scrupulously clean and well maintained, from its regularly raked shingly sand beaches to its litter-free promenade.

The town is also resplendent with well-kept gardens, which soften the lines of the dozens of hotel and apartment blocks.

Icmeler is a small ,peaceful beach town increasingly developing into a most liked resort town of Turkey in the last 15 years .It is located at a distance of 8km from Marmaris and at the meeting point of Aegean and Mediterranean sea.

Situated on a bay, backed by rugged pine-clad mountains sloping down to beaches and blue sea, Icmeler is one of the most attractive resorts in Turkey, ideal for water sports and boat trips. It makes an excellent starting point for a Gulet ,Cruise boat trips touring the Aegean coastline.

You can enjoy every second of your styaying here getting involved in the adventures and activities available. Many water sports are offered at the beach like parasailing, diving, scuba diving, water-skis, banana boat, water scooter, beach volley etc.

You have good options for shopping available at Icmeler , where you can find bigger shopping malls or if you want marketing in less money you should go to the Wednesday markets held at Icmeler every Wednesday by the local villagers.

At Icmeler there are many bars and restaurants but the nightlife is not as noisy and partying as you find in some other resorts. This is a peaceful area and nightclubs are less at Icmeler. Food you can get of any type and very delicious Turkish items.

How to get there

* The recommended (nearest) airport to fly to is Dalaman (110 Km).
Bodrum could be considered as an alternative.

* There are flights from most UK airports to both Dalaman and Bodrum.

* We can arrange transfers to and from the airport if required.

In the kitchen you will find an oven+cooker, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge and a washing machine.
Extra there is an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and washing machine present.

The french doors in the living room take you to the lovely garden.

There is a garden table with chairs and parasol where you enjoy your morning breakfast and the children can play in safety.

Once outside the property you will find the bars, shopping and restaurants very nearby and the beach is only a stroll away.
