The apartment is in a central yet peaceful location in the family resort of Icmeler. 2 minute walk to local restaurants and shops 5 minute walk to the beach and resort centre. Idas Ikis is a duplex apartment on the first floor, consisting of 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. There are balconies and private terraces on all rooms offering excellent views of the surrounding mountains and the village. The apartment is fully air-conditoned and has a fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons, There is a separate lounge and a dining area for 6. Downstairs WC and changing room. Large bathroom upstairs. Linen, towels and cleaning service provided.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Just 9km west of Marmaris, Içmeler is a, purpose-built resort with a cosmopolitan, international flavour. Lying at the foot of lush green mountains, it has a stunning beach flanked by well-kept gardens full of jasmine and oleander. When you have had your fill of lazing around on the sand, you can burn off some energy on a wide range of water sports or learn to scuba dive at the European Diving Centre. The beach can be crowded in high season, but it’s easy to escape if you take a boat trip around the bay and seek out one of its deserted beaches, around the datca peninsula.
Marmaris / Icmeler area
Plenty of restaurants offering a variety of cuisine, Turkish, English,Chinese, Indian...... Most offer full evening entertainment for all the family. Içmeler has plenty of shops, including scores of jewellery shops selling gold and silver at knock-down prices. Wednesday market is good for fake designer clothes, silver jewellery and music, along with local produce , this is located opposite the PTT post office on the top road to Mamaris. On the main square you will find more jewellery as well as carpets and original designer clothes. If you’re looking for souvenirs, Take a wander along the banks of the canal by the Hotel Marti, which are lined with stalls selling an assortment of crafts and knick knacks.
There are numerous day trips to be booked in Icmeler , which take you further a field from the beach and poolside, all are reasonably priced. You will see plenty of tour agencies in the resort offering a variety of day trips. These can include: A day at Turkish Bath (best to be taken at the start of your holiday to maximise tanning!) A lazy day boat trip, Jeep safari, Horse safari, Quad Biking, around the peninsula, Also a golf course,Boat Trip to Dalyan’s turtle beach and mud baths, Those wishing to travel further afield can visit the ancient city of Ephesus ,the springs at Pammukale or even go Greek for the day by catching the ferry to Rhodes.

We had a lovely relaxing break here, the apartment is ideally located for everything in Icmeler, The fully equipped kitchen was great too as we sometimes felt like cooking our own meals and enjoying a glass of wine on the many balconies.. We also felt abit more secure knowing the Owner was always on hand if we had any problems, Would definatley book again. - D. Summerscales- Halifax.
