Marlborough

Marlborough

Marlborough is the quintessential English market town. With a plethora of independent shops and boutiques, spend a leisurely day browsing interspersed with breaks in one of our many independent street cafes.

Marlborough College runs an excellent summer school during July and hosts many food and craft fairs throughout the year.

Local produce and fayre can be found at the street market every Wednesday and Saturday, there is an excellent delicatessen and award winning butchers. For easy self catering, 'Cook' in Marlborough sell ready made meals to heat ...as good as home cooking. Waitrose, Tesco and Morrisons all have stores in Marlborough

For those seeking a more eclectic purchase, a carboot sale on the common attracts increasing numbers of knowledgeable antique dealers one Sunday a month from March to October. Great for a barter.
