"FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC!!!!"
We, my wife, 2 kids (4 and 2), Father and Mother in Law and 2 Labradors have just returned from the most fabulous 4 night winter break at Grooms Cottage!!
Louise and Brian are amongst some of the nicest people we have ever met and really could not do enough for you! A lovely welcome hamper awaited us, a bottle of lovely local apple juice, Locally baked bread and minature eggs from their own chickens on site! The snow was deep for the duration of our break at Grooms Cottage and this simply added to our fun! The grounds of the property are extensive to say the least and were perfect for excersising the dogs and kids! Brian even went out of his way to bring out the quad bike, rope and wooden sledge and gave us all a ride around the fields!!!
The kids loved spending time with the horse and rabbits in the stables too!
The house itself is perfect - under floor heating, wood burning stove AND Radiators (upstairs only) make for the most comfortable, relaxing winter break. Facilities are plentiful - we did a "big shop" en route and did not need to start the car again until we were leaving! Plenty of great local pubs serving food well within walking distance also.
Then the Hot Tub!!!!!!! WOW!! This really was the icing on the best tasting cake!! Tucked away behind Brian and Louise's house, it is lovely and private - even has iPod connectivity so you can relax with your favourite music while sipping your favourite tipple!!
We have just arrived home this afternoon and are already planning our return visit for the summer!!
SIMPLY CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS COTTAGE ENOUGH!!!!!!!!
GREAT JOB LOUISE AND BRIAN!!
Ste, Katherine and family.
