It's a very spacious, 2 bed, beautifully furnished apartment located on the 37th floor of The Torch - one of the tallest residential towers in the world, The Torch stands an incredible 86 storeys above Dubai Marina holding a prominent position at its entrance. "Excellent location and very welcoming stay"

We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights during the month of December. We arrived in the middle of the night but someone was on hand to help us in and orient us to the apartment. The "starter kit" (milk, eggs, bread, cereal, juice, etc) was quite welcome so that we did not have to look for groceries first thing in the morning. One of our luggage was delayed but Mr O'Neill's staff took care to receive our bag and placing it in our apartment so that we did not have to wait around for it.

The location is excellent - from the 37th floor and the balcony you have an excellent view of the Dubai Marina and all the skyscrapers scattered around. Taxis are plentiful and if not, the concierge can assist with this. The stop for the Dubai Tram (with connections to the Metro) is close by. Wireless internet and local phone were appreciated amenities.

Many of the Entertainment vouchers were already used when we arrived (being the end of the calendar year) but we definitely appreciated the efforts Mr O'Neill made in obtaining vouchers we wished for and having them delivered to us. The 90 minute Yellow Boats tour around sunset time is highly recommended!

All in all, I highly recommend this 2 bedroom apartment for a comfortable stay in Dubai.

Estuve 14 días con mi hija en este hermoso departamento, si bien sabia por las fotos y comentarios que era muy lindo, estar ahi fue un sueño, comodo, muy bien equipado, con todo lo que se necesita y mas para nuestra estadia, pero lo que si es inolvidable e inmejorable, es la vista!!!!!!, todos los ambientes tienen una increíble vista a Dubai Marina!!!Una maravilla!!!. En cuanto a la atención recibida fue fantástica, llegamos tarde, a medianoche, nos recibió Edelyn, la encargada, y teníamos ya en el departamento alimentos en la heladera, artículos personales en los toilettes, y mas detalles que no pensábamos recibir. Agradezco al Sr. Patrick toda la atención recibida antes,durante y después de nuestro viaje. Sin duda volveremos a Dubai y sin duda estaremos nuevamente en este departamento, en THE TORCH!.

"Well equipped apartment in ideal location"

We really cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay, including a cot and highchair, which was great for us. You can walk straight out of the building and find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, playgrounds, and just about anything else you would want. In terms of getting around Dubai, it was simple to hail a taxi outside the building. The owner and staff were a pleasure to deal with and the process could not have been simpler. If you're looking for a good base for a family in Dubai, you've found it!

"Great apartment in superb Dubai location"

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Torch. The location of the apartment is ideal - right in the Dubai Marina area and within easy walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, the public beach and the Metro station. Perfect for families.
Booking process was easy and the property managers in Dubai were excellent. They even acted as a concierge service and assisted me with transportation.
The apartment was well equiped for a family. Free wifi was available together with Entertainment vouchers which saved us some money at some of the many tourist attractions.
The pool and sun deck are nice and there was also a gym available.
Best of all were the views from the apartment. Simply stunning!
Only a couple of small negatives - the lifts were under repair, so sometimes there was a fair wait and the pool was closed for a couple of days due to glass in the pool.
I would definately recommend this apartment.

"Wow!" That's what we all said when we walked in and saw the view. This apartment has the most amazing view of Dubai Marina from almost every room. At night it is just spectacular. Very well positioned, close to shops, restaurants, bars and the Metro.
Patrick, the owner, was extremely professional and easy to deal with from the very first email. We greatly appreciated the breakfast and bathroom supplies he left for us. He also left some Entertainment Books which were great for saving a few dollars on different restaurants and activities.
The apartment is located in a very modern tower block with concierge and a wonderful housekeeper named Evelyn who is able to organise any additional needs.

Thank you for your great Review. The Entertainer Voucher Books (Family & Fine Dining) are a great bonus - they can really help your budget stretch and afford for some extra luxury. The books contain hundreds of buy one get one free discount vouchers for casual dining restaurants, cafes and nightspots, informal dining and take-away, sports and pleasure and leisure activities plus Dubai's best restaurants (including many restaurants in top 5 Star Hotels). "Fantastic - awesome location"

We received an excellent welcome from the ladies looking after the apartment. We arrived in Dubai at 5.00am, finally arrived at the apartment at 7.00am to what we thought was only to drop our luggage as we were not checking in until 3.00pm that day. We were shown up to the apartment, they had the pull out couch made up in a bed as they thought we would be tired - which we were very much so. This enabled us to have a couple of hours sleep before we got going for the day. This was absolutely superb and not expected, but made all the difference to us for the day. Top class ladies. Thank you.

The view - awesome! Supermarket downstairs - great! 10-15 minute walk to metro - very handy. Family swam in complex pool, 15-20 minutes walk to beach for swim and plenty of places to eat out in walking distance from apartment if you do not feel like making meals for yourself..

If we go back to Dubai we will be definitely booking in again.

The apartment was amazing! It was in a perfect location and was very clean! When we arrived Patrick had organised milk, bread, eggs and cereal to be left in the fridge, which is just what we need after a long flight! The rooms were very big, could easily sleep 6 people, the views are brilliant! The location is perfect; just 2 mins walk to the marina which has over 400 bars and places to eat. I would definitely come back here! Thank you Patrick for a lovely stay!

"A good deal, good location"

This apartment is in a good location, and was a convenient place for my husband and I and his sister and wife to each have our own bedroom and bathroom, in addition to comfortable community space. We ate breakfast in the kitchen daily to save money, and it was great to do laundry. We had all the amenities needed (laundry, Internet, cable, phone, access the front desk staff). There is a small market downstairs, and a spinney's close by in addition to the many restaurants in the marina. The metro stop is about 10-15 minutes walk.

The building is across the street from the Mariott, which we used as a complimentary drop off spot for a tour who would only drop us off at a hotel. There were taxis outside the building consistently.

I would definitely recommend this property for an economical and comfortable stay in a city that can get pricey fast!

"apartment was perfectly set up and location was excellent."

We arrived at the apartment at 2am to find that all that we needed for the next morning was waiting for us. Milk, eggs, bread etc. were in the fridge. The view was amazing and we were surrounded by restaurants and even a grocery shop next door. A short walk took us to the beach and the Baristi Bar. Patrick could not have been more helpful throughout, even when we had a few problems getting his payment to him. We will be back without a doubt!!

"Fantastic holiday in great apartment"

We stayed at the Torch apartment over the New Year period and had a wonderful time. Patrick's apartment is in a great location and has fantastic views over the marina. The marina is a great area to eat with lots of restaurants and there is a metro link a few minutes walk away.
The apartment was spotless and the provisions that Patrick arranged for when we arrived were greatly appreciated together with his recommendations of places to visit.
We were very impressed with everything about the holiday, particularly the apartment, Dubai is a great place, with loads to do and we will definitely return!
