Villa Rosa on the south east coast of Sicily, near the coastal town of Marina di Ragusa, consists of 2 apartments for rental. One is ANNA a 3 bedroomed apartment for up to 6 persons with large living kitchen, principal bathroom and separate shower room and huge veranda for al fresco dining The other is a bedsit BEATRICE with kitchen corner and en-suite, suitable for 2/3 persons. Both apartments are able to enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean garden, with BBQ and several areas for rest and relaxation and swimming pool. Villa Rosa is a friendly family run structure The proprietors, who speak English fluently, live on site and are available to help and advise when necessary. The villa is located just two minutes drive from beaches or towns and amenities. The Iblean coast is referred to as one of Sicily’s best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet within reach of larger towns and cities such as Ragusa, Noto, Siracusa, The local markets is a profusion of colours and fragrances, great for bargain hunting, You will be able to enjoy the many excellent restaurants for eating out to sample the local cuisine.
The villa benefits from a magnificent garden and its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children.
Apartment ANNA has a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco.
With three double bedrooms, one can be converted into a twin or triple, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.
The bedsit/studio, BEATRICE has a patio furnished with table and chairs for the sole use of its guests.
Each apartment is air conditioned and independent. Prices for BEATRICE are from 250 Euros p/w (low season) to 500 Euro p/w (peak season)

The Sicily region
The area is still unspoiled and to be discovered. In summer it is a hive of activity with various popular festivals such as, The pizza festival in Donnalucata, The fish festival in Pozzallo, the onion festival in Giarratana etc. In spring and autumn Marina is a quiet sleepy fishing village when you will see how the real Marinensi live. The climate is hot in summer and very mild in winter. The people warm and welcoming.
To the east Siracusa, "The cradle of Civilization" is only just over an hour's drive away. Towards the west we have Agrigento and The Valley of the Temples (Greek). Head north and you will discover Piazza Armerina to see magnificent Roman mosaics.
The area is full of history and traditions left by Sicily's many invaders, the Arabs, Romans and Greeks. In many of the local restaurants you may enjoy typical Mediterranean dishes said to be among the healthiest in the world.
Marina di Ragusa area
Marina is a quiet sleepy village throughout the year but in summer it springs to life and bursts with activity.
It's main attractions are: the wonderful sandy, safe beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and colourful outdoor market. Within a few miles: the nature reserve "Irminio", various archaeological sites including the one in Caucana, the museum in Kamerina, UNESCO baroque Heritage site of Ibla and the castle of Donnafugata.
How to get there
By air: Arrive at Catania airport. There is a bus station at the airport which goes to Ragusa. Another bus will take you to Marina di Ragusa where you will be met.
All major airlines fly to Catania. Comiso airport is to open soon which will be the nearest airport.
By hire car: you will be sent map, directions and GPS co-ordinates to reach us.
