Villa Veneto is approx. 3km from the old town of Pietrasanta, perfect for guests looking for a little bit of culture within 3km! The location is fantastic and there is plenty for children close by - as well as the beach there is a mini-fair with dodger cars, a mini-train, arcade and carousel.
For older guests there are some great bars/nightclubs along the coastal road and for those looking to relax there are many fantastic restaurants serving fresh local food.
Tonfano is only a short bike ride away where the Italians 'passegiata' in the evenings. Enjoy a home made ice-cream from one of the many gelaterias and watch the Italians parade up & down in their finest.

Marina di Pietrasanta area
Villa Veneto is situated in Marina di Pietrasanta, a coastal resort loved by Italians. There are many great restaurants, ice cream parlours, pizzerias, cafe bars and delis in the area.

In July Lucca hosts a summer festival where many international music stars play live within the City walls. Walking in the alps is also popular in this area of Italy and the food is some of the best that Italy has to offer…simple, fresh, rustic cuisine to satisfy the most discerning of pallets. There is also tennis, watersports, clay pigeon shooting, golf, horse-riding in the area.
How to get there
Pisa is the nearest airport to fly to for this property. (Bologna, Florence & Genoa are also within reasonable distance). The journey from the airport can be made either by hire car, taxi or train in to Pietrasanta station. Bridgewater can arrange bike hire and beach club membership prior to departure as well as other 'Finishing Touches' such as hampers etc.
Pisa airport is well serviced by the majority of lowcost airlines from all around the UK, flycheapo.com have a timetable of which low cost airlines fly where. The villa is only around 30km from the airport. Most car hire companies have desks at Pisa airport and good deals are available. A good tip is for one person to go straight to the car hire desk whilst others wait for the luggage - this way you beat the queues!

Further details indoors: Entrance to the villa leads directly into the living room which has a comfortable sofa, a dark wooden coffee table, two contemporary style arm chairs & a wide screen television. The room is decorated in a warm and inviting colour scheme of rust and cream, yet the light coloured tiled floor and air conditioning make the property an ideal to relax and escape the mid-day sun! Villas in this area of Marina di Pietrasanta are highly sought after due to their proximity to the sea.
There is a good size double bedroom and a twin room which are both situated off the living area on the ground floor.
The kitchen is situated directly off the living area….bright, spacious & well-equipped with sloping beamed ceilings & a large ‘Smeg’ fridge, marble work surfaces & dining table. The high standard bathroom with shower and utility area is situated off the kitchen.
The stone staircase with a wrought iron bannister leads from the living room to an open plan mezzanine area with a double sofabed, glass toppped coffee table and small television. The master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom is found off this mezzanine area where there is also a small vestibule ideal for storing your luggage. Bedroom and mezzanine area benefit from air conditioning which also cools downstairs.
Further details outdoors: The villa has a compact garden to the front of the house and a charming patio with table and chairs, ideal for dining ‘al fresco.’

INVENTORY DEPOSITS: A security deposit of €520 is required ,to be held by us against unpaid local accounts or damages. You can pledge the security deposit by Credit Card authorisation,which is cancelled as soon as we receive advice from Italy that no charges are due.
