Situated in rural France surrounded by vineyards, walnut groves and sunflowers Les Mondains is ideally suited for a family holiday to remember. The 500 year old farmhouse is within a gated garden with private parking.
The 11.5 x 5 M mosaic tiled pool has stunning views of walnut groves. The pool also has a shallow end making it ideal for children to play. The property is situated at the end of a country lane which means there is no passing traffic and only the sound of nature.
Les Mondains has two living rooms (including an open fireplace) with authentic french furniture and lots of charm. In one of the living rooms the sofa changes into a double bed. Upstairs there are 2 Bedrooms & 1 Bathroom.
The Master Bedroom has a King size bed with traditional French wardrobe and antique dressing table, the twin Bedroom has 2 single beds with bed side lockers, original French wardrobe and an antique chest of drawers.
The large kitchen (with dining area) is well equipped with an american fridge/freezer (with ice dispenser), cutlery, crockery and a range of utensils. Double doors lead onto a private terrace with a charcoal barbeque grill and seating for 8 people.
Les Mondains offers WIFI Internet, Bicycles, Badminton (we have racquets), childrens play area including swings, swingball and a trampoline and a football goal with a net and free access to the village Tennis court (1km).
Other local activities include horse-riding, walks through the beautiful countryside (donkeys, horses etc) vineyards, hot-air ballooning, canoeing on the Dordogne etc There are lots of things to do and see within easy reach.
There are plenty of interesting and historic towns and villages nearby (within 10-30 minutes by car) including the medieval town of St. Emilion where you can sample some of its famous wines. Visit the old town of Bergerac situated on the banks of the Dordogne river. There are shops for everything. Throughout the summer season there are many events that take place such as wine festivals, vide greniers (car boot sales with a difference), antique fairs and spectacular firework displays. All around are family run vineyards, where you can visit to taste and buy their wines.

The ceramic tiled 11.5 x 5 M pool has a 1.5 m platform making it ideal for young children to play in the pool. Beyond this platform the pool gradually becomes 2.0M in depth.
The pool is very private surrounded by lawns and a stunning view over a walnut grove as part of the local Chateau. There is also a wooded play area with swings, a trampoline, a badminton net and racquets, bicycles and a football goal. A key for the local tennis court is also available (1 km away).
