The house offers spacious holiday accommodation with a large living room t(he original banking hall with its high ceilings,) a dining room and kitchen, downstairs cloakroom and walled courtyard garden as well as its own off street parking. Upstairs are three bedrooms , a large double bedroom, a twin room and a single room and a modern bathroom. There is also a travel cot available.

The house was the first bank in Margate built around 1800 with the living room the original banking hall and has retained its character with high ceilings. The pantry/store room was the bank vault. In addition to the kitchen and dining room there is a downstairs cloakroom and a walled courtyard garden and off street parking. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a large master bedroom, a twin room and a single room.
There is private off street parking which is important in the old town where parking is very difficult. The private walled courtyard garden offers a relaxing space to unwind.

There is a private off street parking space with direct access to the rear of the property. External space for bicycles or a motor bike. A raised 18th century walled courtyard area offers an outdoor seating and eating area access by a small number of steps.

Margate, one of the 3 main towns in Thanet, along with Broadstairs and Ramsgate, is famous through the sunsets and open skies painted by Turner. Margate, as the home of the new Turner Contemporary Gallery it is experiencing a resurgence. The first seaside resort in the country, Margate has drawn visitors ever since the 1730s. The 700 year old harbour has been refurbished housing cafes and galleries.
The house is within the Old Town , minutes from the beach, the cafes and restaurants on the seafront. It is in the cultural quarter with galleries in the adjoining streets and 200 metres from the new Turner Gallery.
Margate, offers fabulous sandy beaches, with activities for children.
The Old Town Musuem tells the story of Margate, the Winter Gardens and other venues offer entertainment. With the Viking Cycle Route , Margate is an excellent base for a cycling or walking holiday . A swimming pool, crazy golf, and bowling are all close by, as is the Tudor House.
The Old Town forms the cultural heart of Margate and thanet with its historic street pattern and houses dating from the 17th century.In addition to the Turner Gallery and independent galleries, there are retro and vintage shops selling high quality furniture and designer boutiques alongside cafes and resturants as well as one of the best traditional fish and chip shops.
Joss Bay offers surfing, and other water sports are available at the many other beaches close by. Excellent golf courses including the North Foreland Golf Course. Ramsgate (regattas) and Broadstairs (Folk Week) are close by,

"Great central location for attractions with all you need to make a comfortable stay"

"really great place"
