Home description

Country house, 4 bedrooms en suite upstairs, hall with fireplace, dining room and spacious kitchen downstairs.The house is surrounded by a paved wooden floor with on the West side a very nice pergola where you can sit and eat al-fresco. A barbecue and lounge chairs complete the terrace.

The area is great for taking a bath under the waterfall in the river, or enjoying long walks or biking in the surrounding natural parks, visiting Etruscan sites and exploring the art cities such as Siena, Florence, Pisa and Rome.

Country villa Giulia is for the traveler that wants to experience a true country side holiday yet being very close to the wonderful beaches Feniglia and the Monte Argentario. The villa offers no excessive luxury and is never overdone. Good taste, authentic and service are the keywords that describe the farmhouse.

The Tuscany region

Tuscany is considered one of the most fabulous region in the world...for its colours, for its cities and for its people.
Florence, Pisa and Siena are jewels.

Ideally located for visiting the large cities of Florence, Siena, Rome and Pisa(all within 3 hours)as well as discovering the smaller Maremma towns and villages like Pitigliano,Sovana, Capalbio and Magliano.
You can enjoy the hot waterfall of Saturnia (within 15 minutes) available at any time during the day or night and you can also relax in the Saturnia Thermal spa.

Maremma / Saturnia area

From here you can visit several attractions: - typical historical centre, like Pitigliano, Montemerano,Sovana... - natural parks like Maremma's park; - lovely towns on Monte Argentario like Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano; - crystalline beaches on Giglio and Giannutri islands. During your stay you can also taste many wines following the 'Wine path' and visit numerous restaurants and taste our traditional and local dishes.

How to get there

Driving directions from Rome:
take highway till Civitavecchia and then take Aurelia road till Chiarone or Chiarone scalo exit.
Follow Capalbio direction and when it's indicated Manciano direction; you will arrive to LOC.LA SGRILLA(there's a bar and trattoria 'L'Etrusca');
Turn right and after 2 km and you will recognize the stone building on a hill on the right.
Driving directions from the North:
pass Pisa and take highway till Rosignano and then take Aurelia road southbound to Albinia.
It takes about 2 hours from Pisa.
From albinia follow Manciano direction on SS/SP 74 for 25 km;
you will arrive to LOC.LA SGRILLA (there's a bar and trattoria 'L'Etrusca');
Go straight on for 2 km and you will recognize the stone building on a hill on the right.

If you arrive by airplane it's possible to rent a car at Fiumicino or Ciampino airport in Rome or in Pisa airport
