Southern Tuscany is famous for its unique mix of wonderful nature, sea and historical sites to visit. It is an ideal place for a family to spend a holiday as it offers plenty of opportunities including famous beaches, horse riding, golf, biking, restaurants, spa, wine tasting, etc.
You never get bored and once you'll leave you will regret the plenty of attractions that you didn't had time to enjoy. Lots of value for money as prices are reasonable.
Maremma / Magliano in Toscana area
Siena is 1h driving distant, Capalbio 30 mn, Monte Argentario 30 mn, Parco dell'Uccellina 20 mn, Saturnia SpA 30 mn. But also Pereta, Talamone, Massa Marittima, Castiglione della Pescaia are close and worth a visit.
To enjoy golf you can contact the Maremma golf club and you can also enjoy journeys on the fish boat along the famous coast of Parco della Maremma http://www.paoloilpescatore.it.

You can also rent bikes in Alberese (Parco della Maremma) or on the beach of La Feniglia in Monte Argentario.
How to get there
From Pisa Airport you follow the A12 Highway till Rosignano then you follow the SS1 Aurelia to reach Grosseto. After Grosseto youleave the SS1 Aurelia and follow towards Montiano.
The country house is 10 mn from Montiano village.
From Fiumicino or Ciampino, you take the A11 Highway to Civitavecchia, after Civitavecchia you follow the SS1 Aurelia till Fonteblanda - Talamone. Then you follow towards Montiano. The country house is 10 mn from Montiano village.
