How to get there
There are several ways to get to Marco Island. If you are in the U.S.A. or Canada most airlines (from large cities) fly into RSW (Regional Southwest) in Ft. Myers, Florida. The other option is to fly into FLL in Ft. Lauderdale. The drive is directly across the state and takes about 2 hours. All of these airports have car hires that are economical.
If you are coming from Europe, LTU flies directly into RSW (Regional Southwest) which is Ft. Myers. Miami international airport is also only 2 hours away. You can also land in Orlando / Sanford and the drive is 3 to 4 hours.
