Designed on a grand scale, this lovely property will make you feel like the Lord of the Manor. Set in the gated, upmarket urbanisation of El Madronal, the villa has lots of character with timber beamed ceiling throughout. With it's many balconies and terraces would suit large families or friends holidaying together or clients who would enjoy spending their time in a classically designed property with the best of everything around them.
The tower has a double bedroom and a sitting room in which are 2 good quality fold away beds which can make a separate 5th bedroom if required. The fantastic pool area has plenty of room to enjoy sunbathing and dining alfreso and has great views of the sea and mountains. Should you feel inclined, the joys of Puerto Banus and the coast are only 15 minutes drive. Charming Benhavis village with it's many fantastic restaurants and is also 15 minutes drive.
All the rooms are very large and furnished with antique furniture and period pieces. Features a double lounge with large, built in flat screen TV and sumptuous furniture, also a gorgeous master suite and 4 spacious double bedrooms 3 with en suite bathrooms.

Huge lounge featuring luxury and antique furniture. Separate TV viewing area. Writing desk, upholstered window seat and wooden French doors leading out to the Pool area and on the side elevation out to a shady patio with pergola and patio furniture to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine.
There is great attention to detail, the French doors have a window option as do most in the property. Underfloor heating and air conditioning throughout. Fantastic Dining Room with antique table and chairs, French doors to an arcade of pillars and the pool and featuring hand painted wall freize. The beautiful master suite has a lovely four poster bed, writing table, sofa and fireplace, with a small balcony to the front with sea views and to the side French doors leading to a balustrade balcony with lovely views. Separate dressing area with plenty of wardrobe space and a traditionally tiled full bathroom with separate shower, bidet and twin sinks and electric shaving mirror.
Bedroom 2 also spacious with a carved wooden double bed. Sofa and similar bathroom to the master suite.
Bedroom 3 has twin beds, a chair and chest of drawers and access to the from balcony. In the tower are located bedrooms 4 & 5, one twin and one double with a shared full bathroom upstairs and views to pool and sea, fireplace down stairs, located poolside. The traditionally designed kitchen has a separate utility room and a great range with halogen hob and double and single oven and a wooden kitchen table.
To the front elevation of the house as you enter is a large hall with corridor leading to a W.C. and the kitchen. The main staircase leads to the bedrooms and on the first floor are galleried windows and a wrought iron staircase leading to a small balcony at the top of the house. The main staircase also leads down to a further terrace with patio furniture. Please note that the tower sitting room has no wardrobes if used as a bedroom.

The villa is surrounded by private gardens and the vegetation of the valley beyond.
The classically designed pool area is really lovely and has views to the Mediterranean, it looks gorgeous lit up at night. There is an arcade of pillars and access to both the lounge, the dining room and the tower rooms. There are 6 wrought iron sun loungers.
There is a balustrade staircase leading from the pool area to the lower terrace and garden and timber steps to the lower garden where there is another small, shady terrace with loungers.
Further details
Due to the high maintenance costs, the villa is only booked on a minimum of a week basis but we are happy to accept bookings of any combination of days or weeks after this. Should you require additional cleaning or laundry or maid service during your stay it is vital that u let us know at the time of booking and this service is very popular and will need to be scheduled.
The swimming pool can be heated in the winter months for a additional fee of 200euros per week or part thereof, which will cover the cost of additional electric usage. this service must be booked in advance as it takes two days prior to arrival to get it the required temperature.

Spain's 'sunshine coast' is one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations. With an average of 320 days of blue sky annually, it is perfect as a summer holiday or as a winter destination for golfers, walkers and those wishing to pursue out -door activities. Families are particularly well catered for, with myriad attractions, restaurants and of course miles of beaches.
Children are not just tolerated but welcomed by the friendly Spanish people. Despite the march of development, the area still has the ambience of Andalucía, the most 'Spanish' of all regions and you do not have to venture far from your holiday home to encounter local ferias, fiestas and romerias - the scent of Jasmine is in the air, inexpensive wine is flowing freely- come and enjoy!
The Marbella / El Madronal area
This stunning Villa is located just 15 minutes’ drive from the beach, on the foothills of the beautiful Ronda mountains . Quiet and peaceful, El Madronal is near the beautiful village of Benhavis with it's many fantastic restaurants to enjoy on summers evening. Or for lovers of the country side it is a short drive to the Refugio de Juanar, a rustic country house set in a National Reserve specialising in game not found on the coast such as marinated partridge, venison, quail and even mountain goat. Walking trails are well marked and it is well worth the walk to the Mirador that looks as far as Africa on a clear day.
Beach lovers are well catered for locally with beaches to suit every one, from families to beach babes and also beach bars and restaurants from 'bare foot' chiringuitos to exclusive beach clubs .Only 15 minutes from the glamorous resort of Puerto Banus, Estepona and Marbella, the Villa has easy access to all amenities.
San Pedro has a long seafront promenade, perfect for those sunset strolls or winter walks. It has a wide sandy beach and children's play areas.
Estepona has a promenade and a fishing port where you can watch local fishermen unloading their catch from their colourful boats, but you will have to be up early for the fish auction! The pretty main square has numerous cafes and restaurants amid remnants of old castle walls and traditional whitewashed buildings with their balconies of scented flowers. There is a good mix of shops and the area is particularly popular with families and well heeled British retirees.
There are many children's activities locally and within 30-40 mins drive. Fuengirola Zoo, the most modern in Spain is excellent and well worth a visit, also Tivoli World theme Park. Selwo Park, a safari style park is nearby. There are also Water parks and all types of sports, horse riding etc.

Fly to Malaga or Gibraltar.British Airways, AerLingus, Easyjet, Jet 2, Monarch, BMI Baby and others all fly into Malaga. Ocean Pines is a mere 40 kms, 35 minute drive, along the new motorway.
Ocean Pines is situated close to Los Arqueros Golf Course on the C339 road to Ronda.
An airport bus runs every hour non-stop to Marbella Bus Station. Taxis are outside.

Villa Alma is stunning, the location is beautiful up in the hills. The house itself is fantastic and the staff looking after the property were the best agents we have had. The quality of the furnishing was fantastic and the atmosphere of the house very much five star. We will certainly go back if we can get in!!! There was no detail you had not thought of from the fabulous night lighting outside to the all white furnishings by the pool, everything was so beautifully stylish. If you are not too fully booked up we would love to return again that is if we can get in once your secret is out.
