The apartment is situated on the ground floor of the Birdie Club complex which is adjacent to the Rio Real golf course. It comprises 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen, lounge/diner, front and rear patios, with beautiful shared gardens and pool. It is 15 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minutes drive from the main coast road, 3 Km from Marbella and has underground parking, a must in the summer. Normally sleeps 4, but travel cot and inflatable bed available for infants.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is 54 Km of coastline west of Malaga and averages 300 cloudless days per year. Summer temperatures are above 25 degrees celsius. There are beautiful beaches, superb restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. Places of interest which can be visited in one day include Gibraltar with all its Military and Naval history, the sherry houses of Jerez, plus Seville, Ronda, Malaga, Granada and many more.
Marbella / Rio Real area
If you are on holiday with children, then the visits we recommend are Selwo, which is an amazing adventure through the wildlife of different continents, with rope bridges, walks and 2000 animals, the walk through Bird canyon is just amazing; the Waterpark in Fuengirola, which you will pass on your way to the apartment, is fantastic. It is open from 10am to 6pm. We tend to get there as it opens to make sure we hire 2 rubber rings, this saves having to queue for the park rings so you take a short cut through to the rides. It often gets very hot, so we always hire a couple of beds and an umbrella for shade. There are lockers at the park for your valuables. Tivoli World, is a children’s theme park, with rides to suit all ages, this is near Selwo Marina and the Telecabin (these three can be done in one day as they are all in Benalmadena). Tivoli world does not open until 6pm. Marbella old town and Orange Square are worth a visit (especially if you need a new pair of shoes or a handbag). The restaurants and bars are great. You can either drive in and park , or get the bus from the main road (every 30 minutes or so), or get a taxi in and out. If you take into account the cost of parking it is not a bad option to use taxis. Visit the marinas at Puerto Banus, Cabopino and Benalmadena, all are great places for a stroll around the yachts and lunch. For spectacular views of the costa, visit the mountain village of Mijas. The town of Ronda has its own views and is well worth the drive, have lunch in the square, there is a car park underneath. If you are interested in golf you should seriously consider taking your clubs, there are literally a dozen or so great courses within 30 minutes drive.
How to get there
Nearest Airport is Malaga, our apartment is approximately 40 minutes drive from the airport. The apartment is situated 3 kilometres from Marbella on the Airport side. Cheap flights are available to Malaga from most UK and other European airports. We recommend car hire from the airport, but taxis and a bus service are readily available from Malaga airport.

Further details outdoors: Ground floor apartment, suitable for persons who have problems with stairs. It is on the same level as the pool area, this is accessed via a secure rear patio, ideal for families with children. The pool area is set in gardens which are beautifully maintained, with a separate small pool for tiny tots. The apartment has front and rear terraces with tables and chairs and there are reclining sun chairs for the garden. Underground secure parking with an allocated space for one vehicle.
