Home description
The apartment has a large lounge and dining area opening onto a balcony, with its own table and chairs. A compact but fully equipped open plan kitchen area is supplemented by a laundry room. The bedrooms are a large double with 'his and hers' en-suite, and a twin with walk in shower room. Both have TV and telephones, and the lounge has audio and TV as well as Internet access point.
Sleeps 6 comfortably, and with its full set of amenities within a professionally staffed and secure 5 star site operating to high standards, this is the ideal location for a peaceful break, a golfing holiday, or as a safe family haven where children can benefit from dedicated pool and play areas and activities.
A daily tidy, and full clean twice weekly, are undertaken by house staff.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The coastal strip has been much developed, but can soon be left behind by ascending the mountains behind to an agricultural plateau. The older towns reveal much of the Andelusian culture and evidence the strong Moorish influence - best example the Alhambra Palace at Grenada, about two hours drive away.
The Costa is generally warm or hot but attracts on shore breezes which cool the effect; September is our favourite month, balmy, even hot midday, but with the breeze acceptable, and warm enough to eat out at night. The morning and evening light is beautiful.
Marbella / Elviria area
Beach strolls direct from the resort itself are delightful especially morning and evening.
Marbella, with its long promenade, fashionable shops, old town with its Orange Square, is a constant attraction. Malaga is an historic and interesting City with old town, mainstream shops and the Picasso Museum worth a visit - best to catch the train at Fuengirola!
Mijas is a pretty 'Pueblo Blanca but go early to avoid coaches. Ronda, about an hour's drive, with its bullring and spectacular gorge, is also popular.
Porto Banus has a large yacht marina, boutiques and restaurants, good for people watching.
Granada and the Alhambra Palace are about two hours away, and Gibraltar is within easy reach.
Plenty of golf courses within 45 minutes drive, the closest only 5 minutes away, many of which attract a Marriott discount.
How to get there
Malaga Airport is served by all the major and budget airlines, and a wide variety of local and international car hire companies are represented within the airport terminus and so are easily accessible. The resort is some 40 minutes drive from the airport (detailed instructions are available). Alternatively, a taxi can be booked direct or through the resort.

Further details indoors: The apartment is in one of a series of three storey blocks, all tastefully designed and giving a good level of privacy. Each is served by stair and lift access. Furnished in Andelusian style, with sympathetic lighting and decoration, the whole unit is pleasant and comfortable to be in.
Most needs are met by the equipment provided, or additional items may be available from house staff.
Further details outdoors: There are two outdoor and two indoor pools, a shop, bistro bar and restaurant, gym and fitness rooms, saunas and steam rooms within the complex, with adequate outside seating and sunbeds in the garden and pool areas. A daily menu of activities for all ages is advertised, and for the less independent regular sightseeing trips are organised.

The specific apartment is not allocated until arrival, but all are to the same standard, and a non smoking, first or second floor sea view situation has been requested. Access is not usually possible until 4.00pm on the day of arrival, and departure is by 10.00am on the day of departure.
