The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa Del Sol is the most developed and densely populated coastal strip in Andalucia, packed with resorts such as Fuengirola, Benalmadena, which have busy beaches and high-rise apartments.
The beautiful old quarter in Marbella with its own unique appeal and fabulous restaurants, good for celebrity spotting if you're lucky. If you're after lively nightlife, Torremolinos or more up market Puerto Banus.
The Costa Del Sol less spolit coastline east of Malaga, with resorts of Rincon de la Victoria, Torre del Mar and Nerja, the latter offering a delightful promendade and a famous cave, the Cueva de Nerja.
There are many traditional Andalucian White Villages within easy driving distance. Benhavis is famous for it's restaurants. Casares is very beautiful and has a famous Morrish castle.
