The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The British Colony of Gibraltar is approx 35 minutes drive.
Tivoli World theme park (minature Disney Wolrd) is a 25 minute drive away with shows, rides and its many attractions.
The millionaire playground of the rich and famous "Puerto Banus" is a 6 minute drive away with its choice of many bars and restaurants.The beach is also a 6 minute drive away with its wide range of watersports.
Marbella / La Quinta Golf and Country Club area
The 5 Star Western Hotel, with its fabulous restaurants and spa is a 5 minute walk.
Golf lovers will enjoy the 27 hole champion golf course and golf academy (fees payable locally). There are also 4 other courses within a 5 minute drive.
Altos de la Quinta is an excellent location within walking distance to golf courses, banks, restaurants, supermarkets and close to Marbella. Puerto Banus is a 5 minute drive away and the 5 star Westin Hotel is a 5 minute walk away.
How to get there
The nearest airport to marbella is Malaga,to which there are cheap flights available from most UK airports. Easyjet-jet2-thompsonfly etc.
The apartment is approx 35-40min drive from the airport with taxis charging approx 60euros, probably a cheaper option would be car hire through europcar or hertz from about £90 per week.
Local buses also run between the airport and Marbella.
Driving to the apartment is straight forward with N340 motorway running from Malaga to Gibraltar.
