The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The whole development is surrounded with some of the best golf courses the Costa Del Sol has to offer, including Santa Maria, Santa Clara, La Cala and the new award winning Santana course. Besides its own pool - directly below the apartment - there are other pools available to visitors.

Marbella is one of the original Costa del Sol resorts, made famous by becoming Europe's playground for the rich and famous.

Costa Del Sol is famous for sun, sea and golf with over 300 days of sunshine per year. Fantastic blue flag beaches and numerous golf courses to suit all as well as many local family activites. You can be assured of a great holiday all year round.

Great beaches, a golfing paradise, fantastic shopping. Discover "Orange Square" in old town Marbella or take a stroll down the beautiful promenade or mingle amongst the rich and famous at Puerto Banus with it's multi-million pound yachts, designer shops and quay side restaurants.

Indeed, mention the name Marbella and it usually conjures up images of plush hotels, casinos, multi-million dollar yachts and Ferraris.

But today Marbella is not exclusively for the jet-set. Being only 30 minutes drive to the west of Malaga airport and with the recent increase in airlines providing cheap flights, the resort is within very easy reach for most people and has become a popular destination for hundreds of thousands of holidaymakers each year.

Of course, the main resort of Marbella is predominantly hotels, apartment blocks and beaches but the older parts of town still remain and hold the traditional Spanish feel


Marbella / Las Chapas area

Cabopino is very picturesque and relaxing, known as "The hidden jewel of the Costa Del Sol " with it's marina and lovely sandy beaches its perfect for couples and families. There is a varied choice of fine cuisine and you can enjoy a meal or drink in one of the restaurants overlooking the Marina.

There are a nice selection of cafe's, bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and banks in Cabopino and nearby Calahonda. La Cala, famous for golf, has a market that visits twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday mornings where you can grab a bargain and sample the local produce.

For families there are some great local activites as follows.

Tivoli World -Benalmádena
Amusement park with many rides; an open air theatre with live music, dance & comedy; Andalusian square with flamenco and other traditional dances; and 'Wild West Town' with shows and entertaining games. Parque Acuático de Mijas
This water park is ideally situated between Marbella and Málaga, it has a full array of water slides and other attractions (Kamikaze, wave pool, a labyrinth of toboggans, Children's Waterland, Adventure River....) and also has superb facilities for picnics and other activities, such as volleyball, mini golf or indoor games. http://www.aquamijas.com/

Selwo Aventura
This theme park includes daring adventures, wild animals and an unrivalled nature. It is located in Estepona and offers its visitors the unique possibility to admire more than 2.000 animals from all parts of the planet living here in semi liberty, among them lions, hippopotami, tigers from Bengali, ostriches, antelopes, brown bears, camels, elephants and toucans, to name just a few species.
