The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Cabopino is very picturesque and relaxing, known as "The hidden jewel of the Costa Del Sol " with it's marina and lovely sandy beaches its perfect for couples and families. There is a varied choice of fine cuisine and you can enjoy a meal or drink in one of the restaurants overlooking the Marina.
There are a nice selection of cafe's, bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and banks in Cabopino and nearby Calahonda. La Cala, famous for golf, has a market that visits twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday mornings where you can grab a bargain and sample the local produce.
For families there are some great local activites as follows.
Tivoli World -Benalmádena Amusement park with many rides; an open air theatre with live music, dance & comedy; Andalusian square with flamenco and other traditional dances; and 'Wild West Town' with shows and entertaining games. Selwo Aventura This theme park includes daring adventures, wild animals and an unrivalled nature. For those who enjoy retail therapy there are large excellent air conditioned shopping malls in Marbella and Fuengirola. There are also many markets to browse through. A short drive into the mountains finds many typical "white" villages where time seems to have stood still and Spanish traditions thrive.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga and La Reserva de Marbella is about 30 min from the airport. For car hire, you can use www.easycar.com . If taking a cab, expect to pay around 60 Euros each way, depending on the time of the day.
