Home description

Los Lagos Santa Maria Golf is located in Elviria approximately 30 minutes from Malaga airport just east of Marbella Town.

The new luxury apartment has two bedroom and two bathrooms. Leading from spacious beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high specfication to a south facing terrace with spectacular views of frontline golf and sea and mountains views. It also has a large sunny terrace to the rear also with views of pool for al fresco dining to enjoy almost all year round sunshine.
There is a good selection of fine restaurants, bar and shops and two supermarket ,which are open late and on Sundays. Elviria is a golfers paradise with many golf courses on your doorstep nearby apart from Santa maria Golf course.
If you fancy some shopping in the fashionable shops and boutiques, there is the nearby La Canada (pronounces la Canyada) a huge shopping centre only 15 mins from Los Lagos in the Marbella direction and a further 5 mins and you will arrive the millionaires hang out the beautiful Puerto Banus for even more great shopping , bars and restaurants.
La Romana Beach and Perla Blanca beach are mins away by car and are some best on the coast.
During the summer months there is jet skiing and water skiing along with fun boats for the kids and beautiful frontline beach restaurants of a very high standard with fresh catch all the day .
There are plenty of golf courses, waterparks and lots of sightseeing.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The costa del sol is the quickest route to the sun. The best climate in Europe and great beaches that more accessible thanks to improving infrastructure. There is a rich mixture of cultural and historic sites for those that want to explore along the coastline. For those that want to wine and dine after a hard days sunbathing then there are countless top quality restaurants, trendy bars and discos.
For those with families there are many opportunities to try different water and land activities as well as spending a relaxing day on one of the many beaches on the costa del sol. You really do have to have an opportunity to have a wonderful holiday whether it's peaceful and relaxing, or sporty and hectic you will find what you are looking for on the costa del sol.


Marbella / Elviria area

Eliviria is an established part of Marbella and only 30 minutes from Malaga airport. The area has a mixture of apartments, villas and large townhouses. Los Lagos de Santa Maria apartments are 25 mins walk to two commercial centre, where there is a good selection of fine restaurants, bars and shops including two supermarkets -one open late at night and Sundays.
There are also safari parks and waterparks nearby in Fuengirola and football coaching if you want to keep the boys happy. If you fancy some ten pin bowling in La canada shopping centre and cinema which shows some english listing each day.
The Elviria area is a golfers paradise with many fine golf courses located nearby. Apart from the magnificent 18 hole Santa Maria Golf course there is a great 9 hole par 3 course at Greenlife Golf less than 10 mins walk from Los Lagos(just up the hill from old town Elviria). This is a great little challenge for all the family with reasonable green fees and equipment rental rates. There is also a driving range, putting green and gymnasium at Greenlife. The restaurant there "A La Go" is a great spot for lunch and overlooks the first 2 holes and a small lake with its large fountain and seslection of ornamental fish.
At the Santa Maria Golf as well as fabulous 18 hole golf course, there is a pro shop, tennis courts, and two outdoor bowling rinks. Not forgetting to mention the "H19" an indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant. ESTAUANT


How to get there

Approximately 30 minutes by car from Malaga airport.
Taxi are plentiful right outside front door of airport-50 euros is the normal. Agreed a price with them before you start your journey.

Car rental hire is very convenient just down the ramp to your left just before you exit front door just beside baggage retrieval and is very well sign posted.
It is advisable to book before with car rental companies and then just show your car rental voucher on arriving at car rental desks. We use www.carjet.com very good prices but you can also try www.doyouspain.com who also get very good prices and good advice on booking car hire.

Driving directions:
Leave Terminal and follow sign to Cadiz, N340 - E15. BP garage on your left.
After 50 metres come to roundabout with San Miquel Brewery on right,
go straight over. (2nd Exit)
Get into right hand lane. Take the slip road sign posted Torremolinas & Cadiz, N - 340.
Stay on this road for 3km. You will see a sign Benalmadena & Algercieras 500m.
Get into right hand lane and join the slip road as you go past BMW garage.
Follow sign Benalmadena N –340 -A7-E15.
When the motorway splits(just before Fuengirola) stay on the
N – 340 -A7 signed with a Blue Sign to Fuengirola and Algeciras. Be sure NOT to filter onto the
toll road AP-7 on the left. NB: If you end up on toll by mistake which is really easy to do take exit for calahonda .
Just after the Las Chappas exit you will see the tall towers of the famous Don Carlos Hotel on your left.
You will then pass 2 Campsa petrol stations just opposite each other.
Continue for approximately 1km until you see the ELVIRIA km point 192 marker.
Exit here and go forward to the roundabout. Straight over which is 2nd right (1st is Commercial Centre).
Enter tree lined Avenida Valeriano Rodriguez. At the next roundabout take the right signed
for Santa Maria Golf and Country Club.Continue past the Club House on your right and you will see
Los Lagos on the hillside opposite. Follow road for approximately 300m and you will see a green bridge
on the right. Once over the bridge take the right to Los Lagos.

The apartment is furnished to a very high spec with cream leather sofas and marbe coffee table and matching marble lamp table. The dining table is glass with black leather chairs.
Bedroom have lovely coverings and very comfortable expensive beds as there is nothing worse than going on holidays and not having a good bed and nights sleep. There is secure underground parking with parking space and a lift up to apartment floor. The comte,porary apartment has fully air-conditioning is bright and airy and has all the luxuries found in modern day living.

Further details outdoors:
There are four outdoor swimming pools on the complex with the main one has a children's little pool with a lifeguard in the summer months. The grass around the pool has sunbeds and parasols and stunning views of golf and sea. The tennis courts and outdoor bowling greens situated next to Santa Maria Golf clubhouse and can be reached within 5 minutes walk, both can be used for a small charge. The golf H19 restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining areas with views to the first tee and eighteen green.
